The double drop is intended? OK, well I do remember the double ultra and missile in Suntower Access. Didn't know it was actually two in one place. I know with small energy doubles there's a visible difference in color. Maybe the difference in gold/orange is too slight for my eyes. What about "killing" something by running into it? Actually the Beetle doesn't seem to die, more like it despawns.

Can't see how it'd be intentional right there. Or in Canyon Cavern, where I first noticed it. Perhaps a glitched occurance of an intended function?
I'll be totally honest and tell you that while I do have no idea, I don't believe the killing by running into it is a glitch either, if I recall correctly you do damage by running into certain enemies but I do know some rooms have specified double drops and if I recall correctly killing them by headbutt doesn't modify this property.

I couldn't tell you which rooms they are though, outside of those 3.

In Suntower Access, the two ultras are inside each other, as are the missiles.

I got this weird camera effect when morphing above the spot in furnace where you enter the morph ball tunnel to collect the E-Tank. I morphed above that spot and bomb jump off of that spot. If done correctly, the camera will be super weird when you morph Out of Bounds. When in bounds, the camera sticks to the spot you were in.

Theoretically this could be used to BSJ everywhere, I'm still working with it.

Edit: @ 0:35 you can see where I cancel the glitch, since that area of HOTE has a fixed camera.
I also don't know if this is known or not, but utilizing a similar camera glitch (like above but not exactly the same) I was able to get out of bounds in control tower. The camera screws up when leaving the tower pretty often and it allows you to BSJ anywhere in that room.

Unfortunately, the glitch cancels when you transition to either adjacent elevators.

You can also get out of bounds in control tower by jumping just before the tower falls. When you'd normally morph, jumping instead puts you inside the tower. A bit of wiggling around and you'll drop out. Pretty sure this was known, just felt I should mention it

Had that happen during a run and it instant unmorphed me facing the fight trigger :/
Yep, it's extremely common in runs.

might there be any way to carry "camera effects" with you through elevators? i'm thinking of the first room in phazon mines where you WOULD want to skip wave beam until after later when doing the (as of yet impossible) alternate 21% with varia suit instead of SJB being skipped.?! i have 0 certainty but my guess would be that it's not possible to get any camera effects past an elevator (since it elevator stops IS) so there wont be any "easy" BSJ in that phazon mines elevator (yet?).. :(
can anyone confirm that it's impossible or highly unlikely to carry such camera effects past elevators?
Using the glitch to CONFIRM that a secret world in that elevator is possible with a 2BSJ / 3BSJ would be madness. I'd imagine people would rush to find a way to do it.

I could be wrong but it seems to me that it'd be impossible to carry over the camera glitch. Then again, this game continually throws surprises in my face so who knows. Maybe we should all say it's impossible so the game will feel the need to prove us wrong. I'll start. No, it's totally not possible.

Can anyone explain this?! O_o
He skipped the cutscene at the wrong time I think. That flash occurs at the end of the cutscene.

I think it's more likely to happen if you skip in the middle of the cutscene

edit: welp
I've had that happen to me once before.  No idea what caused it, but I'm glad someone has an explanation.

Let there be light!

Go flamethrower! Light the way!

I had infinite health for this because I would've died otherwise. Even if I had all but 2 E-tanks I'd immediately die (all but 2 being the most I've had when attempting this)
Woah how did you get the HUD available during lightshow?
I run this here hotel of an evening
Iirc it's caused by having HUD Lag turned off
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
I've had something kind of similar happen by getting grabbed by a triclops while IS was active, and then watching a cutscene to fix the lightshow. Though I also had some weird visual problems with the arm cannon iirc. Interesting video.

I'm wondering where the cutscene came from, especially since the only way (that i know of) to activate it is using flamethrower.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
a step in the right direction?

...What the hell did I just watch? O_O

OK, that was weird... In Triclops Pit I went under the floor to go get the item from Storage Cavern. As I got to the tunnel exit (leading to Storage Cavern) I laid a bomb to kill the Triclops there and went on through the tunnel. As I got to the other side I noticed that I didn't hear the Triclops dying. Figured I must've missed and didn't really think much of it. After I got the missile expansion and came back through I saw the Triclops I'd failed to kill. And I also saw the bomb I'd layed, still there for some reason. It blew up shortly after I layed another bomb.

Does going through tunnels like that one "deactivate" the part of the room you're coming from? Like one of the forest escape methods in OOT?

EDIT: I should mention this was done on a randomizer

I don't know where else to post this.

lol I know. Maybe there doesn't seem to be any need for a vid for a useless trick but it looks so cool that I decided to attempt to pull it off and thought why not upload a proper video so other Bomb Jump-lovers might as well just try it out, too. I obviously DO know that this is on the mani page since I included that exact link in the description.
