man, i wish i knew how to fire missles that fast. don't get me wrong, i know how to do rapid missles, but not that fast. i've even tried turbo controllers, but i think mine sucks. it wasn't new, so it fires kinda slow. rapid nonetheless...
everyonce in awhile, i'll be dashing off a zoomer in the second room from landing site, the one with the halfpipe, and i'll get stuck on the ground. i don't get the dash anywhere, i have to do it again. it's usually just before the stream, dashing towards the chozo elevator. stupid sticky floor....
aboot me music glitch with the save station 'music', i can get it to happen over and over on that file, simply skipping the scene 'where it shows samus and the camera moves up' and leaving the room before the "doo dee doo doo doo" ends, you hear the music start to play, then it switches to the save room music. it's crazy!!!
i wonder if anyone, anywhere, actually thought that was a glitch... i mean really. there's NO WAY Retro could have put that in there. if they did, they obviously didn't think about the coding needed for that. just a mini-rant, don't mind me.
i wonder, when you boost into zoomers sometimes they die. glitch? insperation for echoes? something completely different?
the boost ball can kill mini-enemies (beetles, geemers, ridley (form 1)) if you properly time a boost into them. not really a glitch, just kinda nifty.
If you were a weak little bug and you got squished by a speeding ball twice the mass as you, that would probably hurt, won't it?
no, of course not. i should know, i'm a weak little bug, and i've been attacked by a speeding ball that WAS twice my mass. didn't hurt a bit. the moral of my story? don't eat the mushrooms :D
just another reason not to try. despite what retro does or doesn't tell you, those exploding mushrooms explode because of so much psilocin and psilocybin psilocybin..........try and prove me wrong!
i got bored and did a casual playthrough of prime, and i was in that big room (stupid room names, and me not remembering them) with all the phazon at the bottom, in the mines. i killed the plasma and power trooper at the bottom, and the plasma and wave trooper in the middle. and the turret. i started climbing the room w/o spiderball when i got shot by the other power trooper. i'd completely forgotten about him, i'm not used to fighting him. i got knocked down, so i decided to kill him. i had no super missle yet so i had to do some tricky aiming and hit him so he'd fall. he fell to the middle platform, the one with the ice door and boxes. i got up there and he died before i could shoot him. i figured he died from the fall, but i dunno. anyway, i stared at him to see him fall over onto the ground, but that never happened. instead, he shot straight down through the floor, really fast. he was by the wall when this happened. kinda cool, but pointless.
the pirates in that particular room seem glitchy to me....suckers!
Another glitch with the same guy is that after he gets knocked back from a Super, he tried to get up but is hindered ergo he fell of the platform and on a skinniy bar. The animation of the power trooper stops halfway and starts over until you knock him out of it.
