Yes, but that's an AR code, not a glitch.
I run this here hotel of an evening
ark has a point. although i would still like to see an ar run, just to see ar codes being used. if i had an ar i'd try this myself

Edit: why is it that i boost in the mines to get the artifact you 'need'
i get stuck on the dissapearing blocks, only to fall. also in the tower of light (wavbuster place? ifnot, oh well). i'd be boosting towards the water after getting the wavebuster (except i don't get the wavebust or the flamethrower
Flying Ice Pirate Shocked
WHAT THE FLICKER BAT!! Shocked

It looks like he has gravity boost or something..
whoa, holy crap, that is wild. do you have a higher quality original of that so i can post it on the site?
Thats about the best quality I got, the original capture is just as horrible as that one. I was testing 60hz capture in Dscaler.

this is the best I can make of it, probably useless for metroid2002: http://www.chrisvandijke.nl/stefan/movies/flyingpirate.avi
i have on in the phazon floored multi storied room where i shot a plasma trooper with a charged shot; he fell somewhere i couldn't see. Then when i got up to the spiderball track, he shot me. a closer look revealed that he was standing on nothing Shocked . I killed him, he died. but when he did, he fell all the way to the bottom.
mp4 looks ok to me ... how would you like to be credited?
It looks to me as if the Ice Pirate Jumped to high and got his head stuck in the ceiling :P .

i've had that happen so many times, it's quite entertaining. does he shoot off towards the wall? or could you tell?
for me he shoots toward the wall, sometimes dying, sometimes surviving.
Such a funny movie  Laughing

Just send me some flowers.
what could've caused it though Question  Did you freeze it just as it's about to jump?
looks like enemey don't have to space jump any more they can use gravity boost too.

Or use AR moon jump to entertane us.
so is StefanvanDijke ok?

That seems to be the case, yes.

If the vid goes up on metroid2002 that would be cool.

Forget the flowers.

Something really weird happened to me the other day where one of the doors at the Landing Site refused to open. This kind of conufsed me, and I was wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else before. I don't know what caused it, but I got my first and only error message about 20 minutes later, so I don't know if they're related. Here's a video of the glitch I'm talking about:

I also captured another glitch. I didn't find this one; my friend did. I mentioned it a long time ago and no one seemed to care, but maybe a video will make it more entertaining.

You know what? I had something almost exactly like that happen to me at the landing Site the other day, except it was the door leading to Tallon Canyon, not the Artifact Temple... I got annoyed and hit the reset button since I didn't want to add like 3 minutes to my time because a door wouldn't open.
Some doors seem to hate to be open. I have seen them close before I can actually cross (if those doors were real maybe Samus would have lost her leg, ouch).

Well, you know that Flaahgra's flower is not climbable until you activate the Chozo fight, right? When you speed trick this boss you'll end with 2 (or more) active solar panels, and the light coming from them is some kind of invisible surface, so you can climb on top of the flower using them to push you up (sounds strange, just try to jump until you get it). I did, and walked around trying to get into a SW (seems like you can stand on the 'light', gaining some height), but fell between the petals (or what's the name?) and couldn't get out.

It was like that flower was inside an invisible bowl, I fell in there, and Samus body was too big to jump out. Have you seen this before?, or, did you understand my description?

He, he. Another one, thinking of floating Thardus. I was on a 23% run try. Fighting OP, destroyed his armor, damaged him to half life, then waited for him to recover. He ended on his initial pool, and me next to him; he rammed almost inmediately, pushed me againt the wall, I morphed, camera went crazy for a sec, then I moved away from the wall and unmorph: OP was stuck on the wall. I was able to lock on his armor pieces, but couldn't touch them because they were on the other side of the wall (just a part of a shoulder was on my side). I didn't have enough time to take the camera: he was like 1m (a morph ball height) from the floor and he did his shockwave attack which killed me even when I jumped (the shockwave was at the same height as Samus visor).

I've tried to do it again with no luck.
Hmm, OP got stuck in the wall once when I tried using a power bomb on him. I used another one and he went back to normal... the fight continued as normal from there.

not sure if this is technically a glitch, but either way its pretty amusing.
I run this here hotel of an evening
i was playing around in metroid quarantine A and waited for a metroid to lunge at me, then froze it at the last second. it was latched on, and my screen was flashing red, but i wasn't taking damage and the static wasn't there.

i'm guessing that i had a frozen metroid on my face, hehehe

here's one that happens quite often
in the room, second room past the landing site, you know, where you can go one way to chozo ruins, and the other way to magmoor, i'd be coming back from magmoor and then all of a sudden, the "The door cannot be opened with that weapon" message pops up. this completely confuses me (which isn't hard to do, by the way).

EDIT: if you have pillars still standing after the ridley fight, you can still scan them, but there's nothing there physically. you can't even see it unless you have the scan visor out and see the scan box thingie

That use to baffle me until I read here what caused that (in an OLLLLD topic). It's a shot from a bloodflower hitting the door after it has closed behind you. WHY they programmed it to detect the shot in the first place is beyond me, but they did, so the door tells you that the shot from the flower wasn't the right kind of projectile to open the door.
