lucky... my game can crash just about anywhere :( not fun when doing a ss
Don't you play PAL? I thought that one pretty much never crashed...

I have the original NA version... I guess it's more buggy than the others, but that pain is mostly balanced by the easier SJF and the easier time getting plasma without grapple beam (still haven't pulled it off sans spider, but this is good ebough for now)... and possibly other things I haven't really paid attention to.
I'm curious to see if my new path through the game avoids crashes or not... I guess only several playthroughs will tell.

WAY back I got hosed coming back through the labs after grabbing the Thermal Visor... I fought the drones in the next room, but the door to the following room NEVER opened... it did that thing where the color fades like it's going to open, but it didn't and then the color came back... and eventually the locks came back and I was trapped. This only occurred once, but I've never stuck around long enough in subsequent games to see if it would return. :)

I played MP yesterday, and encountered a weird hlitch. I was fighting for Wave Bean, and when the Sheegoth movie started, i just pressed START as fast as i could. Bu then those black "movie-stripes" where left on the screen, but in a "lower layer" than the visor. The Sheegoth death movie got rid of it. I didn't try to morph.

here's something i found entertaining at the very least
i killed the parasite queen, and during it's death scene it was shooting out that green...stuff as if it were attacking still.
i've also had the inability to scan at the very beginning of the frigate as well as on the parasite queen. killed what would've been the start of a recorded run. still had to restart to be able to scan, morphing wouldn't even work.

note that both of these were done in the room with all the phazon at the bottom, with a plasma door at the bottom leading backwards into OP's room.
Crazy Plasma Pirate: i'd come up from OP's room and get to the first ice door, while charging plasma. i shot it at the plasma trooper, and he got knocked back, and started to fall. at that point, he flew over to the wall on the right (facing away from the ice door). i've done this a few times, it's kinda funny. of course, he still attacks, as he lands on a platform.
Jumping Wave Trooper: i'd come up from OP's room and get to the first ice door, while charging the wave beam. i'd shot the wave trooper and he fell off. no surprise there. i went to climb the rest of the room, w/o spider ball, and to my surprise the wave trooper wasn't dead. no, he was quite alive. he jumped up from the bottom of the room back to where he was originally. i charged and shot again, seeing if he'd do it again, but he died like normal. i've only seen this one once

I just did this glitch and there seems to be nothing that specifically causes it except for (possibly) pressing start too quickly. I tried morphing and there was no change. It seems that only another cutscene can 'fix' it.

i've found 2 more glitches that are both completely useless
i was messing around in MQA and missed the dash across the phazon. i decided to freeze a metroid right near me, and see if i could jump of him. i was there for a few seconds, and the metroid darted away. i jumped just as the metroid sped away, giving me another jump. plus, it looks cool.
while in a sw i got stuck and couldn't move without morphing. so i did that, and my beams never came back up. i had to reset. i'm so glad that's not a run
EDIT: just found another useless one. i was in a secret world and had to morph to lower myself. i got stuck and couldn't unmorph, couldn't move at all. i began holding left and the ball was spinning like no other

I have the 2 pbs that you get without attaining the origional four. I get past the Dynamo in the Mines without getting the 4 power bombs, because I thought that 2 was enough and I could just plasma OP. So I leave. I barely get into the next room, then all of a sudden the screen is black then does the glitch sound moments later.
Also I discovered a simpler version of the l-lock spring jump that might be better than the rodeo jump- just press R like you press B as you jump.

i don't think i've seen it though. i'm just trying to get the icebeam before flaagra for fun. hey, if you do that, can you collect the plasma before flaagra? or is geo core super heated?
