OK - I just spent triple digits on KI AR cards via e-bay.  I found someone selling them with a BIN price of less than 1/3rd what the regular auctions are going for - so I spent over $100.  Then I realized that at ther end of the day they are still just little plastic cards.  Not sure if I'm excited about what I just did or not.  Oh well.

looks like the screenshots and videos of the silent hill hd collection gamespot had provided us with were full of shit. at least some people who got the collection early claim it to look just as good as the originals did.

You can just print them. I did it because I felt like it, I suppose.  I just had this weird impulse to collect.I'll be able to get some, all, or even more of my money back if I resell them.  I did the same thing with the LoZ Twilight Princess cards.  I ended up spending more than $600 to get all 9 of the gold cards, which I have framed on my wall.  I sold the duplicates for over $500, and I could get another $500 if I re-sold the gold ones that I have.  It all just depends on how the e-bay market is reacting to the items.  As recently as last month, just one of the LoZ gold cards sold for $89 on ebay, so you do the math.

still don't get why people think screenshots and videos of games that aren't out yet mean anything at all. screenshots never look good, no matter what the game is. they always look jaggerific, washed out, etc and are never indicative of what the game will look like running in hd on your tv.

the solution is to stop caring about game previews like i did years ago. you'll be much happier!

So what's in this collection for R&C, the first 3 games from the PS2? Man, I haven't played those earlier ones in years now, although personally I think Crack in Time might be my overall favorite partially due to the time puzzles. I had a lot of fun doing those.

You can definitely see a progression in most of the weapons as the games go on, although some of my favorites are from the earlier entries, such as the Plasma Coil or whatever it was called from Going Commando/Up Your Arsenal. Actually that might be part of what makes the newer entries easier overall: The sheer amount of firepower you can unleash gets absolutely crazy in the newer entries.

Love Ratchet and Clank.  I wish they could unmake All 4 One.  Then we can get a real ratchet game, and get back to how it should be.
