yeah it's one of those series that weeaboos latched onto awhile ago because it's semi-obscure and filled with japanese nonsense, but they lap it up because they enjoy circle jerking with other sweaty white nerds over its thousands of crappy music tracks and shitty art.

I'm not sure why or when this happened either. I've never advertised it and certainly don't bring it up as a topic of discussion around friends or anything. I did make a thread here becuase I wasnted to see if other people were into it and wanted to discuss things about it but I didn't really give a fuck either way. I was perfectly happy with it staying ~underground~ as a quirky 4chan thing and if my friends enjoyed it, that's fine too. Then all these faggots ruined it because they have to justify the fact they're watching a cartoon instead of just enjoying it and moving on. it suddenly became "cool" in their eyes to enjoy it, and if you didn't think it's cool then you're just a bashing jock who hates everything and can't enjoy happy things.

but seriously the fans, especially now, are intolerable. The 3 or 4 people I've gotten really close to after meeting them through mlp-related things have all jumped ship as well. It was fun, fun things happened, and then it went hugely downhill and there's not going to be any redeeming qualities. Except for the porn.

Noone shall know of my dark secret from now on. Kind of a shame because I got to be a big name in that ~community~ for awhile before I burned all those bridges. At least I got some free stuff, laughs, and easy sex out of it.

this. and unfortunately since it's a show, like anime, literally anyone can just be part of the fandom. Whereas with something like, say, League of Legends, you actually have to play that game to understand and enjoy whats going on in the fandom. And since that game is ~too hard~ for people who just sit around watching anime and don't play games, or even just idiots in general, it acts as a sort of barrier. The easier it is to get into a fandom, the more it will be flooded with idiots who just want to be in it to feel accepted and part of a group.

While I agree with most of these I'm glad I'm not the weeaboo hater around here =P. It's annoying once a while now its just turns into a problem. It happens everyday you say mention 1 thing about an anime you don't like no matter how little it is then suddenly 1 or more fuckers calling you out and making you like the bad guy like it's your fault you fucked up. Its like they literary worship it...Voice comparing in anime and video games comes into mind. I've watched like 5 different animes in its original Japanese dubs...Every single one sounded very similar to one another and people still say its better than english no matter how good or horrible it is. To me its just boring hearing the same damn similar voices over again...I've think I raged and went overboard with this._.

That said I still want Gradius VI to happen.

Well Konami probably got no choice due to the fact they add a hint for a sequel when you beat the final boss in GV. If they do they better not make it look like the last one, most of the stages was all machinery and didn't had no natural environments like its previous sequels which is whats wrong with GV. It looked like it was inspired by Ikaruga.
