When I played LoZ 3D and realized how much I loved having the menu on the second screen and with touch capabilities, I thought of WiiU.  It would be nice to play a zelda game, or any game with a similar menu, and have that menu on the controller screen where you can just touch what you want. 
I know they're going to come up with something to force me to buy that piece of crap, just watch.

For nostalgic purposes, they'll use the screen to house a big button, which you can press to open your inventory. Razz

Or even better, have a cord that you have to undo to gain access, and then do back up when you're finished, or you can't move.  Maybe they'll do two big coat-like buttons instead, that you have to slide into the button holes...

tee hee.  Not sure why mega man's tombstone has an RE death screen on it, and not sure why StarFox is the only one who has the option of resurrection, but cute nonetheless.

Not me. The galaxy games are my favorite to date, and they're relatively new.  Plus, Paper Mario 3D is the only future game that I'm excited about right now.  Still, Mario is kind of a whatever character.  You can practically come up with any kind of game, and at the last minute decide to make mario the star of it.  He's like the generic video game character.  That's fine with me, as long as the game is good then I don't mind him.

At E3 they said 'this holiday season', and I think they said the same for Luigi's Mansion 2.  Definitely going to get that one, too.  I need to replay the first one before then.

The problem with 3D games or should I say the 3D-syndrome is that it mainly is just displaying a static scene, collision is the main interaction, that's it. This is also the reason why 2D games can often develop more depth of play than 3D games.

Minecraft found it's own way to overcome that syndrome. It can shape the world, not just display it. That opens up huge new ways in environmental interaction and in expression of creativity. It leads to a new experience. That is why many people love it.

It's a very well made game.  It came bundled with the very first gamecubes, so they were sure to show off the console's maximum abilities.  I highly recommend it.

i wouldn't say it shows off the gamecube's maximum abilities (it was a launch game after all), but yeah it looks nice and i had a lot of fun with it too. good game.

snes9x question: When you're recording a movie, and you keep reloading, you get your rerecord count.  If you then go waaay back to an earlier point in the movie, to record from that point instead, does it keep all of the rerecords originally made after that point, or does it undo them, and start from the chosen point?

Yeah I think so. Unless you remember how many rerecords you had at that point, make a new smv, copy the input into that smv and reload over and over again until you reach that amount.
