they dont use almost any of the original WoW models or textures anymore, Cataclysm completely revamped the engine, and then Warlords of Draenor upped the minimum req like crazy
but yeah I mean my point is if a crappy $450 laptop from walmart can handle 3D games fine, I imagine a desktop from 2013 can handle a 2D platformer perfectly fine
I was under the impression Opium was just using integrated graphics, since it was a desktop that was bought in-store. Unless she bought one that was labled as a "gamer" desktop of course.
ones with integrated? if its the i3 or i5 line, those are pretty damn good. My grandma has one, I could play WoW and Counter Strike GO on it (at minimal settings of course) at about 30-40FPS, but a 2D game shouldn't be a problem
OK so I exaggerated how old the 1.6 is, so sue me. It's about 2 years old at my best recollection. The one I used before it is 1.4. The laptop that my sweetie brought home for me last night is a 1.6 as well, and I assumed it was newer than it is. He now says he doesn't know how old it is. His desktop PC is 2.? but I can't play on that. My work computer is 3.6? but I can't play on that either, company policy.
Fuck all that though because I think I'm going to call in sick for this game. It looks like the new Super Metroid. I've heard nothing but praise. The music and atmosphere are great. I heard the controls were awesome, too. I'm pretty stoked. This game seems like it was made for me.
