I got: "How mythological creatures could increase Crazy Taxi's popularity." "Should Farmville be a dancing game?" "Should Tomb Raider be a breeding simulator?" Some guys probably already wish it was!
And I laughed at this just for "Triology" "Should Animal Crossing be a triology?"
"Why Halo will mess up Virtua Cop's face." "What God of War could learn from Angry Birds." "How time travel could increase Dora the Explorer's popularity."
Personal fav: "GC: The manly tears in Rapelay gave me a sense of urgency."
"GDC: The hospitals in NBA Jam gave me inspiration." "GC: The cutscenes in Farmville gave me goosebumps." "Why Monkey Island will love Tony Hawk's face."
let's see if the jump to HD with the Wii U damages nintendo like with many other japanese devs. i'm predicting some horrible droughts again. this time i might wait for the first price drop since i doubt it'll be selling well out of the gate (like the 3DS. they don't have the brand name to price gouge their costumers)
i've never liked 2D mario games and all of them are too simple imo. i've been into 3D mario and yoshi's island only when it comes to the mainline series.
I don't think it's the "jump to HD" that will damage the wii u, it's all the other gimmicky stuff they're trying to throw together. Touch-screen motion-control dual-screen waggling with cameras is just taking it too far.
Jumping to HD at this day and age should be just plain mandatory for any serious game company.
I'm not really feeling any nintendo hate right now. They're still by far my favorite. Also, it's news to me that you guys haven't enjoyed their latest stuff since you played the shit out of it.
What do you mean? I think in the past two years I've maybe played the Wii for a total of 30 hours. 25 of those were when friends were over and we would do some wario ware or wii sports. Out of every Nintendo console (not counting Virtual Boy) it's my least played by far.
i enjoy most of nintendo's console games still, they're just not usually as good as other games out there and certainly not as good their games used to be.

While I think this may be true for me, that's only because I've had many more years to rack up time on the older systems. For when each came out, I think I've played the Wii about as much as I did the other systems. Maybe a little less because I can use the other two systems for most third party titles, but I'm still enjoying the heck out of it when I do play which is what counts for me. In the last 18 months just from Nintendo first/second party we've had Mario Galaxy 2, Other M, Epic Yarn, DKCR, Return to Dreamland, and Skyward Sword, and I've personally enjoyed each of them immensely. Not true for everybody, I know, but it's still quite the catalog of games.
When I bought Zelda recently, I had to move a stack of unplayed games off the Wii to uncover it. I like the machine, and I've always liked the Nintendo consoles / games, but my Wii may as well be labelled as 'never touched'. It's not that I choose not to, either, and it's kinda sad that I haven't enjoyed it. I caned all of my NES games, and my SNES was (and still is) my favourite ever console. I LIVED on my SNES. Then the N64 came, and I caned that too. I came late to the GameCube table, but still enjoyed the games on it, though certainly less than the others. Then came the Wii, and it just gathers dust. The only real constant for me has always been the handhelds, and I still regularly play my (original) DS now. But even this, with the 3DS, stirs no interest in me. It's been out for long enough to do something, yet so far all I see is Mario, and I'm not buying a 3DS for one game.
