The actual worst thing is games based around multiplayer that doesn't have everything unlocked from the start. No Sorry you have to play by yourself for 100 hours before you can have any fun.
one thing i did like about mm though was if you took the time to get the fierce deity mask before the last fight, you could totally destroy majora with it
i've actually never beaten majora without using it
Fierce Deity Mask is like the perfect example of how to reward the player for doing all your side quests. Some of them might have sucked or been annoying but here go ahead rip the final boss a new asshole. Become God.
do the british have a name for their 2 pound coin?
Nope. It's just a two-pound coin. Although the two-pence coin used to be referred to as 'tuppence', so you could start a new trend by calling the two-pound coin a 'tuppund' or something similar.
i am laughing non-stop since that rupee discussion on the last page... everytime i play any zelda i keep thinking on where and how do he keep a bag full of giant, colored rocks with him all the time, he must be superman to be able to carry all that...
I actually never bother to remember how much the rupees are worth. They're just shiny things I pick up without much thought. The only time I even check the counter is if there's something I specifically want to buy, like a potion.
i feel like lately they've just made shit games. they're all like lively and cool and interactive and shit but it doesn't make the game any fun to play
@poision: ? i think the news in the article is fantastic. miyamoto will be focusing on much smaller projects, which (hopefully) means we're likely to see more great stuff like pikmin the future.
also the 3ds isn't a flop. it started extremely slow but after the price cut it's picked up a lot of steam. its first-year sales are better than the ds's first-year sales. not saying it will continue to be successful, but so far it's doing fine. there's also the vita's horrendously overpriced memory cards which will make things intersting.
don't get me wrong, i think nintendo's future is looking a bit grim too, but they've got a boatload of money atm and will easily be around for another two console generations. after that though, who knows.
yeah nah I was just lightly trolling. The whole "it's over, _______ is finished" anytime any sort of minor bad news comes up fits pretty well.
and also, yeah, the 3DS is certainly finally starting to pick up. It had a rough launch but I remember reading an ign article about how the sales have more than tripled or something. Of course it isn't this record-breaking thing that Nintendo was originally expecting, but its still doing better than the DS when it was at the same stage in its life.
but I still stand by that hte WiiU is just going to be stupid and won't help Nintendo really at all, but I've never been much for consoles anyway so maybe I'll be wrong
