well they kinda did since the item acquisition themes were from Prime. Death sound effect is the same one from Super btw

Did anyone notice that the music at the very beginning when samus is flying towards SR388 is the same music that they used in Super when samus flew to Zebes.

I thought the special edition CD was just tracks from the whole series, not a Samus Returns soundtrack?

Yeah I do that a lot. Whenever I want to play a game really bad, I buy the digital version so I can play it the minute it comes out. Then I also buy a physical copy if there's a special edition. I have a bunch of sealed copies of physical games from doing that.

I might open it if I fee like I have a reason to. I opened my physical copy of Link Between Worlds a year after it came out so I could use spot pass on two 3DS's to unlock the fight with gramps. I still haven't opened my majoras mask 3d or my breath of the wild. I have several sealed dark souls games copies. Hell I even have a sealed dark souls 3 special edition because I bought two of them by accident.

I have a sealed dark souls 2 special ed too, now that I think about it. A sealed mega man legacy with amiibo...damn I got all kinds of sealed shit up in here.
