I think, "Because Ice Beam solves everything" might be better for the caption. Shorter and more to the point.

Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Here's my guess, moving clockwise:

1. Pass through enemy by freezing just before contact.
2. Maridia 'Mount Doom', or whatever, without Gravity Suit.  Or is 'Mount Doom' the other grapple room?
3. Pass through ceiling, making Speed Booster unnecessary in the entire game.
4. Freezing the Metroids so they can be killed? Eh?
5. Using frozen enemy as a platform for shortcut to Speed Booster (although you can wall-jump, and you'd have to have mock-balled to get the Ice Beam)
6. Taking damage from frozen Rinka to pass through Zebetites to save time.

I know brevity is better, but I really want a duct-tape reference in there somewhere.

Quietus: 2 is wrong. 2 uses a pretty obscure glitch/feature you probably wouldn't know about unless you were in that specific situation yourself. :P
Otherwise though, they're all right. And I know the ice beam isn't necessary for 5 but the shot works well as a background so meh.

I take offense good sir. Duct tape does solve everything! And by applying it to my head I figured out number 2. Freezing all the space pirates in one room at the same time opens up a secret door which leads to the endless shaft, which drops you off near the pipe boots, enabling you to jump back up the endless shaft, and throught the ceiling of the space pirate room to land you very close to wood beam.

I suppose you could see it that way.  It's number 3 in my mind (going left to right, top to bottom).

I haven't played Super Metroid at all, though I'd certainly like to.

I have a SNES I got from my grandmother's basement (She bought it the day it came out). Super metroid is pretty cheap, 5$ on ebay. I'm sure you could buy a SNES for around 10$, so I'd say just buy everything off ebay.

Hey, I just realized how to pronounce Poision Envy's name!  It's like poy-zhyon or something.

I actually have two NESes.  The first boxy kind and then we got the sort of roundish kind that's a lot smaller and you can easily see the cartridge, since it sticks up.  We also have three controllers, which I like.  One came with the second NES so it's also round, but I like the rectangular ones, so I always use one of those.

Yes.  I'll play Super Metroid.  I'll get around to it eventually.
