haha. i thought about doing a katakana name, but then i realized no one here has any clue about it. apparently i stand corrected.
Yeah, I actually made the name about a year ago when I got my DS and was just playing around with it.  This is the first game that I actually got for it and I decided not to bother changing the name. I think all my random opponents think I'm some japanese guy or something :)

Okay, everyone, you need to start posting your Hunters username here as well - even if it's the same as your forum name.
Not directed at radu, obviously. I wanted to post this earlier but didn't.

Actually, it's not terribly important. It helps, especially if your name is brackets or Japanese characters, but it's not needed to actually target someone.

It seems like this list is growing pretty quickly, so what will you do when more than 60 people put up their friend codes? That's the max number you can store.
I'd just delete the people I never see. Which would probably be a lot.
My in game name is

Oni."uesu" in hiragana

Ceyx is

Oni.ceyx

For some reason ceyx cant see any of u guys online. I see people on, but he doesnt. And those who he cant see, claim to see him.
I have the same problem with a few of you guys and im not really sure what to do. >_< anyone know of this?
I think it might be that they hadn't added his friend codes yet, or maybe because it's the middle of the night :)
Also it's ウェス and it's in katakana.

I dropped the M2K2 because I was tired of explaining it to everyone that picked up my DS.
aw. :( couldn't you just tell them "go to metroid2002.com and you will find out"?

They only bought the game because I talked them into it.  I'm not exactly sure how I did it but it gives me somebody to beat up on.  :D  Anyway, I figured more people would be using the m2k2 label but only a few people are for some reason.  What I will prolly do is just use the m2k2 when I am online, if I ever get a chance to play online again.  The stupid wireless connection on campus has a security program that won't let my DS on.
is there a way to register your ds's mac address so that it can get on? that's the way it works here ... you don't have to have a username and password if you tie your ds's mac address to your account.

Why would we do anything differently? We'll just keep adding them. It's up to you to decide who to add/remove.

My FireFox can't even read katakana (because I don't feel like enabling it to do so, but still).
afaik it's just whether you have asian fonts installed.

also keep in mind that when you join someone elses game, it can have people on their friends list but not on yours. In essense you have a network of friends that can potentially be played with even if they arent on your list. there's this cool little thing on the MPH gaming hub on the wifi site that lets you view your friends, and your friend's friends etc. as well. its kinda cool.

For those who want to know...
For some of the people on my friends list, I never see them online, and when I view their hunter license it says:

If you still see this screen after registering each other's friend codes and connecting to nintendo wfc, please check your friend codes for accuracy.

I know I have the friend codes right, so why is this happening? It's not uncommon either.
I guess some of the people must not have inputted your friend code yet. You're not alone though, only 11 of the 31 show up for me, all the others just show the message you saw.
I'm not sure, but don't THEY need to get on Wi-Fi as well to verify things? Cause I have a few people like that at the moment, but it normally clears up once they log on after I've put them on my list. (Which sometimes takes a while depending on when the friend plays)
I've added everyone here but not one has added me. :(

Edit: Nevermind, some have I just hadn't logged in yet.
