Awesome shmup, seems easier than the other 2 team shangai alice games, and also quite a bit faster... 2 character is a cool idea though.
Actually, there's a total of no less than eight games in the Shrine Maiden series. The first five came only to PC-98, a computer that hardly existed outside of Japan... emulator and ROMs of the first five games can be found here: http://www.shrinemaiden.com/MKPC98.htm
Graphically outdated, but oh-so-fun. Highly Responsive to Prayers is like a mix of a shmup and Arkanoid. The Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream... is a great VS-shmup, with no fewer than seven playable characters. The other three are similar to EoSD, PCB and IN, though of course less advanced. Plays almost the same, though.
I've played the handheld (I don't know if there's Slingo for a console or arcade or anyhting). Pretty fun, but kind of hard to read the graphics, they're pretty bad. Cool effects, though.
A remarkable classic. Revolutionary in its time. However, like so many other games it is being dragged on for far too long. Eventually ending up with Myst XXIII would kind of ruin the classic Myst I, to me anyhow.
Time for a real oldie, not sure it's been mentioned yet though, feel free to punch me if it has: Digger
