Flaahgra
Difficulty: 1/10
Oh please, same pattern over and over, though I do love saying OWNED whenever I bomb Flaahgy.

Thardus
Difficulty: 4/10
Wee......... Super Missles Away. That's all that's needed. Outta missles, = Charge Beam Time. (BTW I can't get an Early Plasma because I have a NAPC (North American Player's Choice) version. Super Missles really do, "break the ice" in this battle.

Omega Pirate
Difficulty: 6/10
WHOAMG another boss that is easily owned by super missles. I only kill Power Troopers, as I already use up a lot of Super Missles.

Meta Ridley
Difficulty: 6/10
Meta-Ridley, ONOES!
Boost Balls & Rapid Fire missles = Horjay!

Metroid Prime - Form 1
Difficulty: 7/10
Onoes, teh prime being! >_> Honestly, just mass charged shots (except for plasma form) and you'll go Hojay! I win!

Metroid Prime - Form 2
Difficulty: 6/10
Easier then form 1. Just go through about 4-5 pools. shockwaves is ALWAYS easy to avoid. And the phazon beam will kill metroid easily. Power bombs also help.
Whoa, your difficulty ratings are way off. Flaaghra is harder than that, because it's easy to fall into the acid when bombing (the fast way). That coupled with the fact that you can only have 3 energy tank in the fight makes for some deaths in hard mode (if you suck, like me). No, this boss is not very hard, but still harder than 1/10. I would say maybe 3/10.

Thardus is veeeery easy. In fact, I beat him on my first try in hard mode without thermal visor or plasma or power bombs. 2/10

Omega Pirate is not that hard, either. At least he's easier than Meta Ridley. 5/10

Meta Ridley is in my opinion harder than Metroid Prime 1st form, which is also harder than its 2nd form. (10/10, 8/10, 6/10)

The 1/10 bosses are as follows:
Parasite Queen
Incinerator Drone
Maybe Hive Mecha
red chamber dream
Hive Mecha tends to give some people a run for their money the first time through. I say give it a 2/10, Thardus and Flaahgra a 3/10.
Flaahgra : 2 / 10
Thardus : 6 / 10
Omega Pirate : 8 / 10
Ridley : 5 / 10
Metroid Prime : 8 / 10
Bosses like, Hive Mecha, Incinerator Drone, invisable sentry are just there to annoy and or add time. Really they shouldnt, even come close to killing you >.>

But mp1 is the most annoying boss, shoot shoot change beam shoot shoot, morph ball, shoot shoot change beam shoot shoot. for 4 rounds i mean come on...

Why are emporer ing, and mp1 so easy compared to other bosses? Chykka i died to, Dark atmosphere owned me so many times >.> and then emporer ing... silly creature...
i also hate flaahgra
he gets really boring and easy after you beat the game loads of times

I think I'm obligated to vote for Prime, because I have yet to beat his first form, and that's with 100%.  I only had a few days to try, though.  Left my GameCube in my hometown after the Christmas break so I could focus better on my studies.  Arrrrrrgh.

Meta Ridley was cake, but again, I'm speaking from a 100% perspective.  Flaahgra drove me nuts at first, but with a little practice he's no problem.  Thardus is middling -- took me a few tries, but once I thought of morphing to avoid his ball form, it got a lot easier.  (Not to mention less annoying.  I hate, hate, HATE bosses that can make Samus do the "arm-in-front-of-face" thing....)  Omega Pirate was definitely the toughest boss before Prime, and I'm in no hurry to have that fight again.  Can I just take a moment to kick all the FAQ writers who suggest ignoring the Space Pirates he spawns?  (KICK KICK KICK)  Okay, I'm done.

i made that mistake once. i spent my first semester at college focusing on what a dumbass was to leave my cube at my parents' house.
Hm, I did vote but never replied. Weird.

Oh well, I hate Flaahgra, I can't do him fast with the speedy method so I have to stun him everytime and then wait for him to 'wake up' so I can jump to the bombslot. That takes up at least 5 minutes, and then, it's time for Early wild, which is pretty hard. >_>

Heheheh.  Well, at least I still have my SNES and GBA here.  That equips me to play all the 2D Metroids, which have a ton of replay value but don't cause the massive time-suck that Prime did when I first explored it.  At the worst point, I spent an entire day playing Prime -- something like 18 straight hours.  I have no doubt I'd be doing the same with Echoes if I had it here with me.
lol no way
I have plenty of doubt. Go mp1!
I go with the rest, Flaaghra(Spelling?) was too easy. I beat him in under 4 minutes I think, then Omega pirate we have a bit of a challenge.

Omega Pirate, Keeps killing me on Hard Mode.

Have you tried the power bomb trick?  It works on most versions.  Just roll in front of him, let it off and let the blast damage him.  Depending on how much of him it encompasses, it can be his legs taken out and partially damaged arms, or the whole lot!  I got rid of him on hard mode in 2-3 minutes.  I couldn't believe it.

I personally loved Flagraa.  It wasn't just a battle, it was task-based too what with all the solar reflectors and tentacles.  It reminded me more of Zelda bosses.  I hate MR because of the boring first phase and the really difficult second phase.
Beware: off duty ninja
why is everybody picking on flagharra? is he that bad? Let's see. . . . there's the part of having to hit him just four times (that reminds me of a boss in a kid's game), the segment killing cutscenes. . .. wait, he's horrible. . . .

*votes for flagharra
he really is in essence hes a stupid dumb time consuming boss. If that boss wasnt there, kip could pull off a one hour run lol not a 1hour and 4-5 minutes >.>
Flaahgra doesn't take 5 minutes to kill.
red chamber dream
You're right, Eka. But meh, I don't mind ol' Flaggy.
Cook of the Sea
The Hive Mecha...well, yeah, it's not a hard fight at all, but when you're first trying to do it and you're a total Prime n00b, Hive Mecha is just irritatingly hard.

I beat it on my first try, personally.  Took me a while, but I'm glad, because the Hive Mecha theme is my favourite music in Prime.  The Incinerator Drone gave me more trouble -- it took about four tries.

And hoo boy, Flaahgra.  What can I say?  My first time fighting him, I didn't even figure out how the fight worked.  I just looked up at him and shot like crazy.  I had somehow failed to notice the bosses' health bars at this point, so when he was stunned, I figured I was damaging him.  So I just kept at it.  I'm not really sure how I managed to die... anyway, I was pretty sure I was missing something, so I checked an FAQ and found out how you actually hurt him.  I then lost about seven times (and learned to deeply hate the sound of him knocking a reflector back over) before I finally took the punk down.
Well I finally reached Meta Ridley today, he is the best boss in all of the Metroid games.
Although disappointingly easy, I found the fight extremely entertaining. For some reason, I think that boss is reason enough for Metroid Prime to win game of the year 2002.
My first time through, OP owned me so hard it revoked the 14th Amendment. But most recently, using plasma / pool coverage technique, he was laughably simple. I'd have to say I had more trouble with Incinerator Drone.

Is it just me, or are the Research Labs in Phenandra and the Elite rooms in the Mines extremely annoying? I hate creeping around the room and frying shadow pirates one by one, but I really hate fighting in thermal more. -_- Give me a nasty boss over those rooms any day.
I beat OP my first time with 2 energy left.  @_@

However, I have to give my vote for most annoying [mini-] boss to Hive Mecha, since it is the only boss that has ever managed to beat me more than once (bad coordination + poison water = bad for me).  Now I can just skip it, but I have bad memories.  >_>

I actually found this site because of how intensely I hate the "exit" portion of the Phendrana research thing.  I agree with you there.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
That's when you say, Yay Early Ice Beam!!!
Quote from Nida:
but I really hate fighting in thermal more.

With every Prime game comes annoying visors.
Thermal visor was annoying, as everything was purple and you'd probably walk off a cliff if you were near one, and the x-ray visor everything was white, once again, you're bound to fall off a cliff with that thing. Then in Echoes the Dark Visor is usefull, but the echo visor is barely using and is horribly annoying.
And, uhh... The incinerator drone is that weird flame thrower robot with that war wasp hive above it right?
that is correct, you get morph ball bombs from him.
