It's not if you keep posting with bad grammar, spelling, and puncuation.
I love you Kridlly

I've had that since I joined.
I would love you back, but you spelled my name with two L's.
Oh no!  My love has forsaken me!

Heh... I have played FFVIII about 4 times I think, and every time I get to Ultimecia's Castle, I just quit and delete my save game. I my opinion it is the worst FF I have every played. (I do have FF X2, but I never seriously played it, so that one doesn't count :P) The moment I saw the FMV where Balamb Garden flies of, I just turned the colsole off... It was too silly for me to withstand.
Anyways, my FF fav list;

- FF VII (I can still feel my heart breaking when Aeris dies)
- FF X (Good story, I love the way you can make your characters godlike, but too linear)
- FF IX (I loathed the monkey boy and he should have died in the end)
- FF VIII (Squall, Laguna, Balamb Garden, Junction, Stealing magic ?!? There are only 3 good things about FF VIII; Eden, Edea and Quistis)
- FF X2 (Girlpower?)

I also have the FF I, II, IV, V and VI remakes for the PSX, but I haven't realy played them yet. Might do so in the near future.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
You should, as they are way better than 7+ for the most part.

I keep a save where Aerith dies..so fun to watch a crappy character kick the bucket.

You're evil, Scarlet.  So horribly evil.

And yeah, I've only played 4, 5 and 6 of the early FFs, but they're all brilliant.  You should really play them.  I hope to get Dawn of Souls on GBA and FF3 if I can afford a DS (when it comes out).
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
FFO is a better version of part 1, but 2 on FF Advance is fine.

Yeah, but I don't have a PS and I'm not even sure there's a PAL version of Origins, so I'm treating DoS as a Godsend.

The only Final Fantstasy worth playing, at least to me, is FF4. All the others are lacking something.

When aries died, at first I was like: "Did that actually just happen?!" then about a minute later I was like: "Eh, I never liked her anyways."

I was used to someone dying.  :o

And yeah Izo, there is a PAL version of FFO; it came out about a month before the real US version did, and many PAL'ers made sure the North Americans knew that.
The only Final Fantasy game I have ever played was Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on GBA.

I am unable to play any of the other Final Fantasies because I don't have a PS1 or a PS2, and I was looking for info on Final Fantasy 12 for the PS2, which looked awsome, and made me wish I had enough money for a PS2.

I have never heard of Final Fantasy until sometime in 1997-98, so right now I am hoping that Square-Enix will make another Final Fantasy game much like Final Fantasy 10.

Question for Red Scarlet - Have you ever played Final Fantasy Tactics Advance?

Well, you'll excuse me for being a little rude, but FFTA sucked so much ass it's not even funny. The original's system was watered down to a point that completely screwed up the concept of Final Fantasy Tactics.

In short, if you have a decently fast machine on Windows, get a PS1 emulator (ePSXe works wonders), buy the original Final Fantasy Tactics somewhere, and THEN we'll talk about a GOOD FFT game. :P

Again, sorry for my rudeness, and please pardon me if I offended you in any way - it wasn't my intention.

Well, I guess everyone has their own opinions. I surfed the web regarding of FFTA, and some usually say that it is not as good as the original, but I don't have a Playstation, so I haven't played FFT.

FFTA is the only game that got me a bit into the Final Fantasy thing, and no DZ, you haven't offended me at all.

The thing is that I liked FFTA so much, I hope that Square-Enix plan on making a sequel to it, but with a few more things to do, and stuff. Doing 300 missions to me wasn't enough, the next installment should have around 1000 missions, or better, 2500 missions.

But I just want to know if Red Scarlet has played it or not, so I can hear what she has to say about the game.

Eh, I liked it, agreed it was a hell of a game, and then got bored with it and put it down.  I wanted the strategy to mean something more, like more than just placement affecting spells and stuff like that.  Like, it would be cool if we had mission objectives that really pertained to the map, like storming a keep or something.  And the looseness of the map, actually placing territories yourself, coupled with the knowledge that even in the game world it was all fake anyway really failed to keep me interested.  Why call it "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance" if the only thing to the "Tactics" is the layout of the battle system?  In my experience, "Tactics" refers to an actual campaign of sorts, with objectives and so forth.  In this, it was random to the point of meaninglessness.  I'd like something like

"keep all enemies from breaching the barricade for eleven turns.  If you succeed in holding the barricade your party will gain control of Angad Pass and have free passage to the important port city of Elidel through Angad Pass and causing Elidelians to hold you in high esteem.  You may also choose to give the rights to the pass to the Itharians or the Pretonians, who in gratitude will assist you in further skirmishes that they may be present for (in the case of the Itharians) or the Pretonians' influence could open up valuable oppurtunities for you later.  If you fail to hold the barricade you will not be able to use Angad Pass and this will affect how you proceed in the game as well as alienating the citizens of Elidel, changing how they will treat you in towns and what information they may offer you."

rather than

"Kill everybody.  Also, you can't use swords, blue magic or javelins for this battle because I said so.  If you succeed you'll trigger the next fixed story event.  If you fail, that is, die, you'll get a Game Over and try again to do the same thing".

You guys seeing the distinction here?

Ready and willing.
I just wanted to stab the game because it made it look like you could safely throw away that one item when you couldn't.

I don't care for them.
Well, I like the first and fourth ones. That's it though.

Don't worry I actually love this game.  I think it's the best Final Fantasy I have ever played.  Even though I know 6 is possible the best.  7 to me was to predictable and I hated Sephiroth to me the game was to over-hyped and I never liked cloud...the only time I liked him was in Kingdom Hearts.

9 was just wow it's hard to explain but it was like great but made you feel wierd when you played it.  It didn't feel like a Final Fantasy.

Tactics was nice but I prefer Tactics advanced.

I liked 8 because I loved Squall to me he was the biggest bad@$$ of all time untill I met Lloyd from legend of Dragoon.  I liked the junction system once you understood it it was easy to learn enemies weakness and was fun to poisenor put enemies to sleep with a firey effect added to your gunblade.
