Ahhh! SO HARD it was to make this poll! Kept telling me - too many options, too many options!

Hence why some of them arej oined together and baby, super and hunter Metroids aren't there!

You could have left out the Bosses, for reasons that you can certainly see.  BTW it's Gamma, not Beta.  Either way, that was my LEAST favorite.  I would have voted for Zeta-Omega, but Queen Metroid was so cool.  It's still amazing how great she looks on the old black-and-white screen.  I refuse to play II on my GBA on any color pallete but the straight-up black-and-white.  B-left, I think.  Or A-left.  I do it without thinking, so I'm not sure.

I'll drink to that.  Omegas require a little more planning to power through the three of them in the last area; I got caught flat-footed in my speed run, having saved at the first save point in the last area without enough health or missiles to take out three Omegas, and I probably added 15 minutes to my time just refilling enough to continue.  Zetas are the most dangerous, though.  Definitely.  Stupid little flying rats.

I originally has one option for EVERY Metroid type. Including the baby and the Super Metroid... but alas, 5 is the max. so they had to go...

Anyhoo Green floater is my fave (I would like a plush toy of them too... could sit on my shelf and look evil ;) )

It's the classic Metroid, it kinda started it all.

I think the metroids from super metroid were by far the most awesome.  Since they are regular green floaters, Ima have to vote for them.

I haven't played Super.  How are there Metroids in Super?  Samus went Orkin Man (Woman) on them in II, with the exception of that one.

Well the thing about them i liked was that they were very big (especially THE super metroid).  They also made cool sounds.  Meh, I dont know.
