man i'm level 80 and i'm still finding new quests in places i haven't fully explored yet. this game actually seems bigger than skyrim, which is hard to believe
I won't miss it much since I went down the luck tree and got all the crit perks. Criticals only miss if there's a physical obstruction, and if you get all the perks you pretty much never run out of crit juice.
i have most of them too, but they're not all maxed. still, on very hard even headshot crits only do like 30% to enemies around the same level
also my crits don't miss even through obstructions. that could just be headshots and therefore due to the maccready glitch though. not sure. (i don't have the perk that ignores obstructions)
finally finished the story! level 94 and i think i've seen just about everything in the game.
went through each faction's ending ... little disappointed they were mostly the same, but i had a lot of fun with the brotherhood and their old school tech. of course, they're assholes, so the save i'm going to keep for the dlc is the institute victory. <3 the institute.
I was really disappointed with how short the ending was. Not just with the final summation, but also how the last missions felt pretty rushed. Taking out the factions was fun, but it didn't have that big battle feel of the final missions of the previous games.
yeah, overall i liked the game more than 3 only because i couldn't really get into 3 (it was my first bethesda game), but it did feel sort of rushed, and yeah i agree the story left a lot to be desired.
hopefully the dlc will be cool, but i do wish the game itself was more fleshed out in terms of characters and settings
i used vats all through 4 too though. and i have beaten 3, i just didn't enjoy it much. never had enough stimpacks or ammo, but i think i could do a much better job if i played it again
I need to get back to finishing XBX. I'm 2 chapters from the end but I hit a point where I have to gain like 5 levels to be able to access the next chapter and it kind of deflated my enthusiasm.
Normally I don't advocate buying a season pass before all the cards are on the table, but Bethesda just announced that they're adding more to the package and the season pass price will go up from $30 to $50 on March 1st, but if you buy now you still get everything they add. The stuff already announced sounds like it should be worth the $30 as is, so it might be a good idea to jump on it.
