i find it hard to believe that this hasn't been noticed, and even if it hasn't, it may be far too unimportant to warrant a whole topic, let alone a forum registration just to make sure; however, here goes:

Talking to the computer again just after hearing the message the first time, and then answering that no, you do not want to hear your objective again, the mysterious unknown G-Fed chap again attempts to tell Samus but is cowed by the computer:

GF- "Samus, the plan i mentioned..."
CO- "Samus, return to the correct route immediately"
GF- "......"

Minor yes, but i mention it because it isn't on the metroid2002 site. Have other people really not noticed this or has it been thought inconsequential? i only "discovered" it because i was so happy i'd finally got the fusion message that i went to read it again >_>.
Thread title:
pretty sure everyone knows that. i'm sure it has been mentioned on the forum before, even if it's not on the site.

That M2k2 guy
Yeah in the past five years I only remember that mentioned once. I didn't think to check back at first, though, so at the time it had been interesting. It just doesn't really lead to anything more at all.

It's kind of a digi-bitch-slap (or at least a nun-like ruler-handslap), so could we get a mention put in wherever the main trick and message is elaborated on the site?

EDIT: As in, on the not-forums part of the site, wherever the main trick is posted.
I like Big Butts and I can not lie
I remember it being mentioned in Dragonfangs' TAS thread and in some other thread
