I'm thinking it must be something really obvious, but does anyone know what they mean in Corruption? If you bring up the Command Visor, these words will appear in very specific rooms for no apparent reason.

It's not quite like "No Valid Target", which clearly indicates when it's possible to use Ship Missiles but there are no enemies around. And when you can't do anything in a room, no instructions will come up.
Thread title:
The one time I can think of where I remember seeing that is when the turrets prevent you from taking out one of the shield generators on Bryyo. I think it means that there is the possibility to fire on a target but you are unable to do so. (So not like the times where you could fire but there's nothing in the room.) Sounds to me like it's for scenarios that require you to blast something but only after you clear out whatever prevents you from doing so.

Sounds good, but why that expression?
Don't the turrets try and take down your ship the first time you try the bombing run on the generator? I always believed that meant the ship was staying outside of their range until you took the turrets down because it could get damaged if it flew in close again. That's how I've always understood the situation in any case, because why else would the ship need to use evasive maneuvers?

Of course, that makes sense. It's just that I've seen it in more than one place (Command Courtyard, for instance). But it's maybe the same principle.
OH ****!!!!
Is the command courtyard before the seed on the pirate homeworld?

Hmmm well im guess they might have been wanting to use the turrent thing again to make it harder to bring in your ship.

Or maybe it's because the ship can't attack until we disable the PH shield.

Which is disabled by the time you get thier unless your using SW's.

The Command Courtyard is the intro room of the Pirate Homeworld, the one with the first E-Cell. You're probably talking about the room where we disable the shield.

Oh i see, jihnsius said it was the place right before the seed.

No, I said it was before the Seed, not right before it. There's really nothing after the Seed.
