Leader of the "Council of XIII"
I downloaded the soundtrack late last week since I have to pretty much have zero time on the net these days thanks to my situation. In any case, the album is godly. It's exactly the level of excellence of what I expect from DMantra (as far as music taste goes). This album is worth taking with a person on the go, worth sleeping to, heck if I weren't in the hole with funds I'd contribute some funds for this.

DMantra: What did you use to make these amazing tunes of awesomeness.
Yo.

Wow, you noticed too? Some of these tracks, while alienatingly ambient, do indeed give you a sense of calming when you listen to them.

My best guess is raw, unrefined epic, which he toiled over an anvil with for many a day and night, then ran through his recording program.

07-Eris Station (No Survivors)
08-Reservoirs (Cavern Lakes)
22-Cobalt Mountain (The Crystal Caves)
23-Cobalt Mountain (Grave of The Chozo)
24-Phazon Gardens (The Toxic Canopy)------------------This one is a Masterpiece
25-Phazon Gardens (The Fungal Jungle)
36-Boss (The Dragon's Den)
But I like the hole thing.
Sometimes I feel the influence of Pink Floyd and Gentle Giant. (I love them Both)
Men, if you can make music like that you should make some more. (I'd really love to hear some more:)

Yeah, a lot of those tracks reminded me of Pink Floyd's music.  Also, regarding Echoes of Eris, I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but some of my favorites are:

Intro Screen
Menu Screen
Approaching Planet Eris
Game Over Screen

...Just to name a few.  I have many other favorites that I can't think of right now.  BTW, for some reason, track 3 - Approaching Planet Eris, is connected to a different artist name as well as DMantra.  Why is this?

Used to have a site with all the albums I've made since 2002..
I could possibly sift through and compile a mix of personal favs and host it at some point.
Echoes of Eris doesn't show my phat beats.

??
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Only three songs made it to my elite playlist: The Mold Monster, The Grand Fountains, and The Crystal Caves. I got rid of all the others since my iPod is lacking space as it is.

How many albums have made since 2002 and what happened to your site?
Did you released them on cd's? Are they available somewhere?
Excuse my curiosity but you are really teasing it.

I probably don't need to tell you that I am very interested by your art.
Phat beats? Wow, I can't wait to hear that 8)

I've made 18 albums since 2002.
My site crashed because some arse downloaded a virus on the server. I got the site back but I've been too lazy to remake it.

I released around 10 on cdr and gave/mailed them to friends. I made 100 copies of 'Montrique Viral Session' and it sold out, never re-issued it cause it came out my own pocket and my pockets are empty these days.
I can make the majority of them available if I get around to zipping them up and making the site again, which is a hassle right now. That's why I suggested just making a best of mix for anyone that likes my stuff and wants to hear more.

It's to bad that your site crashed 'cause your music should reach a maximum of persons.
I'd be very happy & honored to help you restore your site online. I got the time, the ability and especially the will to do it.
It should be very pleasant to do it listening to the albums :)
Do you know or have a server to host it?
Well think of it. If I can be useful, I'm here.
...
I could give help with this as well, if you need it.  I have already contributed to at east two websites(including this one), so I'd be happy to lend a hand if I can.  I would like to see some of your other work, DMantra.
wow phazar you should run m2k2.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Didn't he help out with one of the sections here? Whistle
yeah man he practically maintains the site.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Dude, what section was it? I have to read that shit.
...
Back on topic: I was just saying that I would help danidub help DMantra with it if DMantra needed help, but neither of us are even helping anyway, since DMantra can easily do it himself.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Seriously guys, what has Phazar contributed to? I need 2 kno!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
red chamber dream
okay, let's get back on-topic and stay there.
I've been listening to this in my car for the last week or so.  I continue to envision the game as I listen to it.  Are we getting close to a release, DM?
I'll tell you, if the game looks even close to what the music sounds, it's gonna be a masterpiece.
Anyway, everything DM does seems to be very close to it.

Glad you're still enjoying the tunes!  Wink It's really flattering to think that there are people that listen to my stuff while not on the computer.

About the release.. I've been on a break. The well dried up and I'm having trouble getting back into the swing of things. There's still a lot left to do so yeah.. no promises on a date yet.

I put together a folder of random tracks from my discog and it's about 2 hours long. It's 245mb so I'd need the go-ahead to zip and share if the size isn't so much a burden.
