Early Missile Tank (PYR) question

At the end of this video, after the player runs all the way to the left and shinesparks up into the above room, why does the player then drop back down and build up another shinespark to get the energy tank? Why doesn't the player simply shoot right through the blocks, bomb the end for a pipe and jump up to the E-tank that way?

I hope the player knows which blocks can be shot through, and that there is indeed a pipe down there...

Fair enough... oh, I've just remembered another hidden pipe. There's a room with a Missile Expansion in TRO (I think). It's in the top right corner of the room, and all there is in the room is a Sidehopper and a hidden pipe just left of centre. I think some people might think they need the High Jump (or Space Jump?) to get this Missile Expansion, but again, all you need to do is bomb the floor in the right place, and the pipe goes up so that a normal jump can reach it.

When you say "pipe", do you mean morph ball tunnel, or one of those cylindrical platforms that rise up out of the ground when you bomb them?

Yeah, I mean the cylindrical platforms that come out of the floor. Talking of which... I found out another way to do that room where you have to make the horizontal ones come out, but not the vertical ones. I always used to bomb carefully in the right places, but apparently if you stand in the right places (different right places) you can use the Wave Beam to make them come out, without disturbing the vertical ones. It'd probably be quicker, but I haven't memorised the places for the Wave Beam, though, so I'll still use bombs so I don't mess up.

It's got an energy tank in the top right. It's in NOC. You need to smash a 4x4 Screw Attack block in the left room, then run from the left to the right, and use a Shinespark to go through the right wall of the vertical room. You can't get out until you complete the puzzle - if you mess it up, you can leave and re-enter but you won't get past the wall of Speed Booster blocks just on the outside.
