Actually, I think I heard that the single player mode is much different from a normal Metroid game.  Like, mission based.  But don't quote me on that.

What I meant, really, was that MP:H would be like MP in the sense that its single player would be, well, an actual game, instead of just an extension of the multiplayer.

MP:H=MP2:E Multi-player/Single player in reverse! :D

Whoops.
Metroid Prime : Hunters, really looks kewl!! 8)

I am thinking when we, Australians(Me, Mafus, Lynk Former, and anyone else in the forum that was born in Austraila) get the DS and MP:H Bundle Pack! :?

What's the release date in Oz?

Note : I'm a Maltese-Australian.

I was born in Australia, but my family is Maltese.
lol no way
I'm pretty sure it said Austrailia and EU's release is like... early '05. :(
When will the full Hunter's game come out?  I won't really be able to use the "demo" that comes with it because I don't know anybody that would buy a DS.
lol no way
No release date is set yet.
Dangit times 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 plus a lot. Evil or Very Mad

Lack-of-release dates stink. Crying or Very sad
I wouldn't be surprised if it came out within a month of the DS. However, let's see what GameStop and EB guess the release date to be:
GameStop says: December 7th '04
EB says: March 1st '05

Yeah, FLICKERBAT you, EB.
The best part is that it's the initial price so when the price lowers to a standard price you can really start drooling puddles.

And yeah, down here we get things a little later, it'll reach here early '05.
red chamber dream
Yeah, prices drop, but it usually takes quite awhile. I sometimes don't mind the wait, but I've been waiting for the GBA SP's price to drop, and here we are with the DS! I just decide to buy everything at full price.
I really, and truly wish that Nintendo would release it's games in Australia as early as teh U.S.A! :x

Why is it that we have to wait serveral months after U.S.A gets it!? :x

Import 'em, man. Simple as that.

For console games it's the fact that they have to be optimised for PAL since they start off as NTSC. But that doesn't count for handheld games of course.

Don't know about hardware though. From what I hear handhelds don't have any region locks and there would be no differences between a US NDS and an Australian NDS so the release date shouldn't be that far apart.

it doesn't apply for console games, either - at least not anymore. i play my pal gamecube games in ntsc with no problems whatsoever, and i'm sure the reverse would be true (on an ntsc gamecube, too). i think it's because nintendo (or whatever game company) thinks they have control over the customer with their regional lockout system, and so they have as much time as they want to translate/localize.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
They probably want to sell most of their initial 2nd supply of DS things over in the US because they'll probably sell better than in Australia, so then they have to make another supply (probably a smaller one, too) for Australia afterward.

Hence the time difference.
i didn't know you were such a master of economics. :P go little known talents and hidden capabilities.
I'm a math whiz :D
If i may light your way on what the Demo will include please..
---
1:The Demo will have a single player mode of about 5-10 minute long.It show the first training room samus as ever been in.

2:A survivor mode. Just a mode that you kill as many enemy as possible without dying

3:A morphball mode.It consist in a kind of race in morphball only. You just go throught a map and pick up some Morphball module without missing any and fast as possible

4:A multipleplayer death match mode. there will be map for 2,3 and 4 player and i think you only need 1 cartridge to play multiple player mode not 1 per player even with the Original Metroid prime hunter..

Well I hope my information helped you

The morphball mode thing sounds interesting. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
The question i'm wanting to get answered is the games for this system CD or cartridge?
red chamber dream
I'm fairly sure it will be a cartridge. It would be weird having discs on a handheld.
rotfl. go psp.
If so why would they put a demo on a cartridge. I never heard of that.

If they are giving the game for free WITH the DS then it must be the full version.
red chamber dream
What's so hard about putting a demo on a cartidge?

Cartridges + handhelds = perfect sense. (to me at least)

I'm sure cartridges could hold enough information or whatever...look at the N64. The DS's graphics will be nearly like those and the games the same length or shorter, with about the same memory required.
