And does anyone have these images before they fall esleep(like, when your almost there but not yet) where you're doing something and then trip, and all the sudden your leg twiches and you wake up? Oh gosh, i hate those.

All the time.  They really annoy me.  I seem to remember something about them on that lucid dreaming article (I read it ages ago).
I was actually going to make this topic when I had a few dreams including seeing Nate while he was working at Wal-Mart and shooting off his head with the RE4 shotgun. Weird...

Whenever I get the falling dream, I always realize I'm dreaming and then I can fly around.  It's kind of like Lucid Dreaming, but only in the limited extent that I can fly.  It's fun.

I had a dream involving a spreadsheet or something last night. I think it was about 1 cell trying to fight a block of cells or something. I have trouble remembering details, because when I woke up, I realized that was going on a 7 mile hike today for Boy Scouts.
Weeeeeeird...I don't think I've ever had a dream that strange...
On the topic of hearing things in your dream that are actually going on (like someone talking to you trying to wake you up and you hear it in your dream) . Something funny; I was once having one of those dreams, and in the distance I heard a sound like someone was jumping on my bed. Wonder where that was coming from.  <_<                >_>

I cool dream I had recently, it was kinda epic.

I remember knowing that I had to die, in order to get to some place, to help defend it against a big attack from the enemy. So me and my family are heading to where we need to be to help defend, and we are walking down a huge mountian, and you can look over the edge of the narrow path and see down for thousands of feet, as if you were high up in a plane. I happend to stray a bit to close to the edge and slipped, and hung on with one hand for dear life, with my legs dangiling over the edge. Then I realized that I had to die in order to reach my destination, so I said bye to my family and let go.

Really freaky falling, and I braced myself for the huge impact, but it never came. Right before I hit the ground I was warped to the place I had to defend. "Well I guess dying ain't so bad" I thought. My family was there somehow and we all got equipped with weapons and armor and stuff for the impending attack. The place was kind of hybrid of Mansion-Chozo Ruins-Pool. Right when we got done preparing, a huge army of robots attacked. I was underwater (I could somehow breath fine) and targeting lots of robots with my high-tech laser eye (they looked like Quadraxis, but not so big) as they slowly moved forward and then incinerating them. I don't rememebr anything past that point, but I am pretty sure we repelled the assault.
When I was little, I had a dream that I would jump into my toy box and I would appear out of another toy box somewhere around the house, like going down pipes in mario. Laughing

Here's a wake-up:

A long time ago, in the last part of a dream, there was a musical, song-and-dance number.  Everyone in the number sang "It's ... time ... to ... get ... up!"  I saw the sun shining and creatures everywhere dancing together in a large group.  Then I woke up!

Another one -- a LONG time ago, I had a dream where I was JUST about to take a bite out of a lobster.  My mouth was watering.  Then SUDDENLY I woke up before I could take a bite.  I woke up saying, "Man!  I wanted to taste that lobster, too!  I never got the chance before!"

At first I read that as "breathe fire". Heh.

When I read what you quoted, I read it as fire as well. >_>
Heh, me too.  Reminds me of that weird thing about the human brain where a word can be anagrammed except for the first and last letters and you can read it normally, strangely enough.

Heh, me too.  Rmiedns me of taht wreid tinhg aubot the hmuan barin wehre a wrod can be agmnaremd ecxpet for the fsrit and lsat lttrees and you can raed it nmroally, sanlegrty egnouh.

It works because you read words as wholes, not as letters strung together.  That is what makes people better spell-checkers than computers.

I believe it's a result of me getting bored out of my skull in computer class.
You want a nightmare? Here's a nightmare:

A few nights ago i dreamt i was tied to a wall in a dentist waiting room. It was pitch black, i was the only one in the room, and the background music was "Dancing Queen" by Abba (i think its by Abba) I hate that song a lot so it really sucked when for 8 hours nothing happened. My nightmare was just me in a dark rooom tied to a wall forced to listen to "Dancing Queen" And nothing else happened. Nothing at all. No one coming in, no other noises. I woke up sweating and gasping <_>

Another time i had a dream where i was falling. That was alright, but the REALLY freaky part was when i woke up, i fell about three feet bac down onto my bed. I will never know how i ended up 3 feet in the air while sleeping though :((( Maybe i have dormant superpowers >_>
Ive had painful dreams. Dreams that you can feel pain, like itches or pinches and things like that, they are really weird. Only had about 3 of them to date (in total at least).
A couple nights ago, I dreamt that I was on Dark Aether. I opened a Yellow Door and was in a room not in MP2. There was a Sky Temple Key just floating there, so I grabbed it. That's all I can remember, except that I was Boost balling around for some reason.
Yesterday, I had this little thing that made me want to get an iPod Shuffle. It took its toll, though because today I dreamed of having it. LOL

..What? Pain in dreams? I thought the number one rule of dreams is that there is NO PAIN involved! Thats the one thing that seperates dreams from reality! But... If he feels pain...then what does that mean about the rest of us? And our lives? Are we really living in a dream? AHHH!!! NOOO! IT CANT BE A LIE!!!!

...
I don't remember my deams at all.  Meh. :/

Nah, you can definitely experience pain in dreams; I have, at least. Not pleasant, as you can imagine.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I remember when I had a three second dream about the blood circulation being cut off in my arm, I wake up and what do you know the circulation in my arm was cut off, took ten minutes to get my arm to stop hurting.... That's about the extent of pain I've had in my dreams.
A few days ago i had a dream where i was Samus at my granpas and grandmas house (don't ask why) and somehow got a hi-tech belt from an alien race that made me fly. I remember flying to the roof picking up sacks with something in it. I also remember that i felt the shoulder protections (spelling and grammar?) and it was quite annoying.

Well I had a very vivid dream involving Shade last night.  No, nothing like that.  Actually, I think that's the first time any of my main characters has appeared in a dream.  It was really weird, though.  We were just sitting there talking to each other, like I was just myself, SJB, and she was Li Shen, that chick in my comic.  I was having a conversation with someone I invented, and even though I created her, she's saying stuff that makes sense for her to say that I never thought up for her to say.  Except I did, right then, because it was all happening in my mind.  Bizarre, and really, really cool.  Like:

Shade:  Seriously, Sam, who am I?
Me:  Well that's easy, you're Paragon Shade, an android.
Shade:  But doesn't "andro" mean "male"?
Me:  Technically yes, but I didn't want to rip "gynoid" off Ghost in the Shell.
Shade:  So you made me.
Me:  Yes and no.
Shade:  What do you mean?
Me:  As far as you're concerned, you were created by Chinese scientists at Tsing Hua during World War III.
Shade:  I'll buy that.  But I thought my name was Li Shen.
Me:  It is.
Shade:  Two names.
Me:  Yes.
Shade:  That doesn't make any sense, Sam.
Me:  One of them is an alias.
Shade:  Which one?
Me:  Li Shen.  That's an alias.
Shade:  You have got to be joking.
Me:  Sadly, no.
Shade:  Listen, Sam, I don't want to be part of this whole thing, it confuses me.
Me:  What, the comic?
Shade:  What comic?
Me:  Never mind.
Weird... And cool! :D

I highly doubt it was only three seconds long; that's just all you remembered. It's said that REM periods come in increments: starting at ten - fifteen minutes, then twenty minutes, then a half hour, increasing as you sleep. And you supposedly dream during almost the entire REM period.

Saber: awesome dream.
