Doing Shinespark...

Hi there!

Well, uhm, I don't know if there is already a thread about this subject, but allow me to make my own one now.
First of all:
I don't know how you handle the term Shinespark, I think it's when you are flashing after running and pushing down.

I have problems with shinespark.
I don't know how to make it and how to jump (jump, not fly) with it and how to fly with it in the direction I want and how to do things like here, after flying (I call it flying) getting in Shinespark again.

Could anybody give me please a really nice and handy explanation how to do this?

It's my problem since Super Metroid, I can make it but I don't know how I make it, it's just you do something by accident.
I just know, you go into shinespark with running with speed booster and then press down. Then you are in shinespark and can fly with tapping A twice, but despite this I can't jump to a ladder or something.
Is this right?

Full explaination:

Run.
Get speed boost.
Press Down. You've got the shine!
Now, 2 choices: (1) Spineshark, or (2) jump without spinesharking.
(1): Press A, and while floating, press direction.
(2): Do a spin jump, so press A AND a direction at the same time.

If you want a speed boost AFTER spinesharking, shark directly into a ramp. You'll speed boost after hitting it. Then, press down to get the shine again. Then you can spineshark again.

Now, this trick you are trying is REALLY hard. So it's perfectly normal it doesn't work out for you :P

I believe you inversed the "h" and the "p" in Shinespark.

Well, I made it up to the room , but I'm a bit too slow, so I can't shinespark into the door.
But anyways, thanks again, I'll practice it.

If you stand while having a shine, then press A, you'll float. Then you press the direction. If you want a mid-air ShineSpark (correctly written! :D), you do a spin jump, fire your beam, and the press the jump button again to start floating.

Well, you don't just float. If you don't press a direction within about half a second or so, you spark straight up.

but you DO float for a while, and if you press a direction before that, it does not register, or you do a spin jump.
