Do you think I can make it under two hours.

I just got this game friday, and beat it monday. My time was 7:00:20. As soon as I was done I liked it so much I started a new game. I was hoping to do a run in under 2 hours. Right now I am at 1:43:27. I am in the first save point at chozodia and have the high-jump, varia suit, Long beam, shinespark, bomb, super missle, and missle.(Not that it really matters too much since I dont have any armor.) What I am wondering is how likley is it that I will be able to beat this game in under two hours. Any tips on getting through quick like the best route or whatever would be helpful. Also do I get a different ending if I beat it in Under 4 hours.Oh yeah Hi, I am new.

You probably wont make it under 2 hours this time unless you can run chozodia like a ninja (or radix or red scarlet...) The nest time you do it you'll definitely get under 2 hours.
Watch the run in the ZM section of terence doing chozodia without getting detected. And I know what you mean about restarting as soon as you finish, im playing through for the 8th time, but its my first time on hard and i just beat kraid playing in a lecture, w00t! :D

ahhh the bliss that is Zero Mission! I don't think you could get through in under 2 hours. Don't worry though, when you beat it just do it again! You'll be much more skilled at it and will get it under 2hrs

Know that I think about it I most likley wont be able to make it. I still want to get the best time possible so I think I need to go start a new save file and find a good wall to practice the IWJ on. Then I will sit there for a few hours practicing that. Then I will watch Radixs' 34:47 run from chozodia see if I cant pick up a few tips. That guy is scary good I could never do that. Even if I dont under 2:00 It will be cool because that game will bow before me next time.

I am getting this game on Saturday I'm trading XIII for it. Have you ever played a 2d metroid game before? I wonder my first time will be?

I played the original metroid. This game is fun dont worry. I finished my second game and started a third I am about to fit the moth thing with the stingers (you know the one I am talking about) And am 57 min. I wonder If Ill get it under 2 now?

You probably should, if you've gone 2.10 you should be able to go a good bit lower this time. If you can make it to Tourian in 1.15-1.20 you should go under 2 hours.

Yeah I'll make it. Im at 1:39:43 at the last save before MechaRidley. Its harder now since this time I forgot to get the Screw Attack.

Not the worst thing to leave out but it makes Chozodia SOOOOO much fun once you get the fully powered suit back, screw attacking while falling down a shaft and landing on a load of space pirates.... :D

1:43 Go me.Yay.WOOHOO. Metal Ridley wasnt that hard, but the original ridley for somereason was really hard on this run. I just couldnt beat him no matter how hard I tried. Oh yeah I didnt use any super missles this game either. I just started a new game on hard this time am at kraid time about fifteen min. I dont know if you people could tell but i :sarcasm:kinda:sarcasm: like this game.
