1. do they increase the power of an ordinary ice missile?

2. does charging make the missile progressively stronger? or is charging just a delay time?

3. does the ice wave after impact do damage to enemies?

4. if 3 is yes, say im fighting Ridley. i charge a missile, and it hits him.

will the ice wave damage ridley as long as it going through him?

oh, and do ice missiles make missiles more powerful, or just add the freezing ability?

and out of curiosity, what happens if you use a cheating device to get diffusions before ice? do you get ice missiles with the diffusion effect? do they stay the same until you get ice missiles?

1. Not that I know of.

2. As far as I know, the charging is for the spreading ice clouds only.

3. Not that I know of.

4. Shouldn't.

As for the last thing, I have no idea. I only know that the Ice part makes it so that freezable enemies can't die from the first shot, and that enemies are frozen.

Most enemies up to Ice Missiles die from a single super, iIrc.
I'm pretty sure the Ice and Diffusion upgrades increase the Missile's power. I could be wrong though...
i'm 99.9% sure that charging the missiles doesn't increase their power, and i'm also pretty sure that ice does nothing except make you hit something twice to kill it, thereby decreasing the power of a single missile. worst. upgrade. ever.
As for bullet 4, just shoot charged beam shots at Ridley and save a missile. It hits him multiple times as it pierces him.

i know and do that, i was just using it as an example
Charging definitely does nothing to power, which can be easily found out with BOX II.

IGNORE:

EDIT: Ignore my last comment. I misread a comment that was talking about the Ice upgrade.
Proof that Ice Missiles does more damage than Super Missiles:
With Supers, Strechies take 4 to kill.
With Ice, they take only 3.

Of course, most enemies take 1 Super to kill anyways and Ice always freezes an unfrozen enemy (instead of killing them outright) unless they are unfreezable.
