Why can't you own a non-Nintendo system, Syl? Money? Or fanboy?

combination, that, and i can play the majority of the games i want on other systems at my friends house.

I can't really say money though, as I counted before i left.. and i own a total of 42 gamecube games.  Tis only the cost of 3 to get a PS2 these days.

I'm borrowing a PS2 right now for that reason.  Of course, lately, i've been wanting to play some games that i know for a fact my friends will never buy >_>
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
Lol, 42 Gamecube games. o.O
42? I have about halas much as that. I find it very hard to play all your games and beat them with that large number.
I only have 6 Gamecube games...probably because I'm lazy and I don't go out to earn my own money...

Yeah, same here.  I'm an only child and my dad/grandparents spoil the hell out of me.

I do probably earn a sizable amount of my gaming money though, i have many good ways of milking people at the school.  It takes some effort to earn over $100 just from letting people play my SP.

I actually don't have a problem beating my games, out of all of my cube games, the only ones i haven't beat are the few that i got this summer.  RE, RE0, RE: code veronica, and megaman AC.  Every other cube game i own i've beat, at least once.  (I finished Tales of Symphonia earlier today, amazing game, i love it.  I'll be playing it again VERY soon)

I also have 28 GBA games, and i'm approaching 40 snes games as well.

heh, sounds like syl is a real entrepreneur. i'm sure when he's successful people will try to explain it away as him being rich as a kid.

Go 50 NES games, and sadly go almost 50 ( 48 ) of my ~200 games being from 2 series..
I think I played DDR2 or DDR (don't remember which) back a few days ago and it sure was fun and/or somewhat addicting but I think they exaggerated way a lot with the hard-mode thing in the game..

oh, and the dacing teletubie guy in the background is hilarious :o
I play DDR almost every single day for 3+ hours.

I just recently bought a Red Octane: Ignition Dance Pad so I'm going crazy over it.

I went from barely passing standards to AA Standards and passing Heavys on 1.5x speed.

I <3 my Dance Pad.
Come September, I will play 5+ hours straight!
I try playing that long but doing constant 8-9 footers on heavy or standard and my legs are just DONE and I can barely walk normally.

Plus, I like to play on XBL too so that adds another addiction.
Now that I think harder, I cant do that. I have school and homework Crying or Very sad

Someone shoot me.
*shoots you*

My dance pad is working perfectly now. Some time, I'll have to replace the the 3 layers of cardboard under each arrow with some wood, but it's ok right now.

So far on MAX 1, I just have 2 more songs on Heavy that I haven't gotten at least an A. Orion and Max 300. I can't pass Max 300 withou a bar so I'm a little out of luck there. I can get to the freeze in the middle of the song before I tire myself out.
I HATE MAX 300!!! ITS SO FREAKIN HARD!
Once Extreme comes out, I will be able to do all the songs in the lists.
I hear ya. Max 300 is just a pain until you got it down pat.

I still haven't  been able to pass it on Heavy either. =(
Well I've now passed Max 300 and Maxx Unlimited. I got a B on both of them. I was able to find a tall chair to hold on to. Otherwise, I couldn't pass them.

A funny thing here. When I first tried to pass Maxx Unlimited, my brother played a stage before it and set the speed to 1.5x. I didn't know until the song started. But I still passed with a C.

I can't wait until Extreme. Know any good songs that will be on it (or a good website that will tell me)?
well...YOU SHOULD BE AT YOUR LOCAL ARCADE PLAYING IT!!!

We have a place called Andretti thrill park and on the second floor is the V-Cage. You can play games for free for a 5$ entrance fee. The downside is there are no bathrooms and if you leave, you have to pay to get back in. The have Extreme there so I play it a lot.

Extreme has most of Max 1 and 2 as well as a lot more. Ill try to find a list.

EDIT:I SWEAR I CANNOT FIND THINGS THESE DAYS!!!!
I find it easier to pass heavy songs when it's set to 1.5x.

Kind Lady is just a prime example.
It makes it so your quick steps flow instead of a slight slow down which seems to tire me out more.

Anyways, I was playing Megamix today and I love all the versions of Paranoia. I know once you heard one, you heard em all, but I love the variety. Starting at a 6 footer on heavy and working up to a 9 and then Max 300 just kicks ass.

I even tried Paranoia Eternal on Oni. But I failed like 10seconds away from finishing =(
I meant, what songs will be on the Home Version. I've been to the arcade a few times, but the closest one is about 25 miles away.

I almost never change the speed. And 1.5x speed for a song already going at 300 BPM makes it more difficult.

I can read the arrows for extrememly slow songs. Like My Summer Love and Bag. I've AA'ed Bag on Stepmania on 1x speed, so I would like to play it again, the next time I go to the arcade.

The good thing is, when I go to college, I'll be near an arcade.
I really need to play DDR again.

Well, obviously. I didn't mean Max 300 and Paranoia.

I meant songs that are slow enough to make you slow down on the machine gun steps. Just turn it up to keep you flowing.

Anyways, I live between 3 malls. All have arcades with different versions of DDR and about 20 miles away there is an arcade with 4 different versions of DDR.
I used to play DDR. I quit because I didn't really feel the need to play it anymore; its not as fun anymore.
Got DDR Extremem today. But since I bought it at the mall, I decided to play there. My only real accomplished was passing TLoM but that made my day. It tired me out quite a bit, (Beacuse I played 2 other 10 steps) so my friend is playing extreme right now. From what I heard, it's not too great. But I'll just have to see.

So, not too many good starting songs, but that's usually a given on the other games as well. It has a really weird format for selecting levels and such. Not really "weird", but more like "different."
I just played 2 hours of DDR straight on heavy. My calves hurt =(
