Actually it's all non-Metroid at this point, but sinceI DO have some Metroid drawings to scan and upload I'll cover my ass for now.
Such Heroic Nonsense
I sketched it, scanned it, then traced and colored it in Photoshop. The earlier drafts of it are here, here, and here.
Zero Vs. Sigma
Upon scanning it, I realized that I really don't like Zero's face. Guess that's what happens when you're drawing in a darkened room (we were watching a movie in class). I also think Sigma's face needs some more battle damage and overall he could stand to have some more detail. I've fixed it up already, but haven't had a chance to scan the new version yet.
Balance of Mana
In my Electronic Art class we had an interesting assignment: Choose a tarot card from the deck, then create a piece inspired by the design on the card. The name of the card I chose was balance, and this is the design it inspired. I would've preferred a better Mana Sword image (like the artifact from Legend of Mana) but I couldn't find one. Anyway, this is what came out of it. Not the greatest, but it's certainly helped me figure out a bunch of stuff in Photoshop.
The Black Death
Part two of the tarot card assignment: pick a card at random from the deck and become inspired by the design. This time my card was wheel, and this is the rather macabre piece it inspired.
I Win Again, Lews Therin
Tarot card assignment, part three: combine the two pieces. This is the result. You probably won't get it unless you've read the Wheel of Time series. Overall I think it could've turned out better. But that's probably because the night before it was due I realized, "Oh damn, I didn't do that assignment," and quickly slapped it together. I think the Wheel of Time logo took the most work, but if I'd had more time I would've either traced it better or found a more useable image of it.
Pantheons
A 1024 x 768 wallpaper based on Copy X and the Pantheons from Megaman Zero. Free to anyone who wants to use it.
X - Command Mission
Another 1024 x 768 wallpaper, this time of X's new look from Command Mission. Nothing fancy, just shrunk the pic down a little to fit. Again, free for you to use.
