Not sure about 'troids coming out of the walls, but the other ideas are sound. I like the roar-disables-lock-on idea.
Hm... Ridley hasn't been in the second main-series game, the second Prime-series game, and the chronologically second Prime-series game. Sounds like he really doesn't like being second fiddle, eh?
C'mon, even though i like ridley,i'm getting tired of killing him...i think that if he was in echoes i would probably still think that he's a pussy xD... C'mon...a 3-D Kraid,Crocomire,Phantoon or Draygon would've been cool
Echoes isn't harder that corruption(i still haven't played prime,i'll start next week),but the game is seriously f*cked up. In my first run through it i didn't know the existence of this forum, and i refused to get walkthroughs,so i got stucked a few times. But it's not hard,it's just boring, sometimes, like in the start of the game. About Ridley... I think that if he was a real creature,he would still be a pussy,he's always been a pussy, and nothing will change it,maybe if they do a strong Ridley(or if do a 1%run on Fusion),you will always think that ridley sucks major ass
It just wouldn't be the same knowing that my warrior would not be the purtiful lady that I know and love. Also, there's all that crap about the hammer.
Anyway, I also think I'd like to see some of the bosses from fusion put into a 3D game. Mainly Nightmare.

Yes, let's have the 3D low% runs suffer his wrath!
My other nominees would include Crocomire and Phantoon because they would be completely different from their 2D fights, I suspect.

Phantoon, then throw in a couple of chozo chosts then we have one hell of a boss fight. :-D

Lets throw in the 5min timelimit, poisonous atmosphere and incredibly limited ammo supply and it would be somewhat "hellish" heaven =D
I find this ironic due to your (current) avatar being DeDeDe.
T-T-T-TUNNEL BREAKER! I also feel like I have a better self-confidence about where to use parentheses instead of brackets; we'll see... Not about to change any past uses, though, at least not right now.
My theory on Ridley's absence from MP2: Meta Ridley was killed/destroyed at the end of MP1. Shortly after, after Samus defeated Metroid Prime, the temple started exploding, and then (off-camera) fell into the impact crater, which was also collapsing. Do you think they'll be able to get Ridley up and running as a substantial threat again in just a year, when Ridley's already heavily damaged body was crushed in the ruins of a collapsing cave that happens to have lethally mutagenic properties inside? No. And the Space Pirates only stayed in Aether for the Phazon they found there (the GF Marine base area covered almost as much area as the Pirate Base), and I'm pretty sure the Space Pirate commanders weren't all that happy about the pirates' progress there. What makes you think Ridley, in whatever state he was in (or failing that, a high-ranking general) would want to visit a backwater mining outpost that can't meet expectations?
Personally, I would like to see what a Torizo would look like in 3D, and how it would be implemented.

IIRC, Phazon, under the right circumstances, strengthens the creature rather than killing it.

I seem to remember a scan in Echoze saying something about Ridley visiting, but whatever. He wasn't there. Do you think he visits [i]every single space pirate base in the galaxy[i]?
