Counter-Strike: 1.6/Condition-Zero

I found it odd that CS didn't have it's own topic yet.

Does anyone here play Counter-Strike for PC? If so, what are your favourite maps, guns, setups, etc.

Personally, I really like all the fy_ maps. Not only are they fun, they have a nice layout to them to ensure constant death.
Of course my favourite gun is the M4 and AK, even the sg and Aug, but I won't turn down a nice MP5 once in a while.
I like the Ak-Deagle, M4-USP, AWP-Deagle, and Scout-P228 setups. I find they work best that way.

What do all you "1337" CSers have to say?

Most people here seem to be against PC games in general. I would play cs but I am blessed with a 56K modem and just looking at the downloads makes my computer crash ( windows 98 ).
Mybe next month when I get my new computer and if I buy pc gamer I might play cs.

Map: De_Nuke, De_Dust2, De_Cpl_Mill, De_Cpl_Fire, De_Train. k. :p Let's see.. set up ewwwww I don't use like p228 or like five sevens, aug, sig, mp5 like ever.. only time I use the mp5 is on eco rounds in scrims. mp5 is easy to get hs with. ;o hmm.. combo of course awp/deagle, colt/deagle or usp.. and ak/usp. colt is great for spraying all the time.. no point to even burst it ever.. only like if they are very far away.. but you can still burst like 4-6 bullets and hit them fairly well so yeah. I spray my colt all the time, controlled spray of course.. And can get hs most times so yeah. Ak is different, uh spray is harder but still possible, but seeing how the ak is stronger, you just need to burst and spray alot less to kill someone.. ak two shot burst to the head owns. I use my awp in a few ways.. I either no scope/quickscope it... or I will stay scoped camping a spot waiting for someone to peak it to pick them off.. ;o
It depends.. ;o uh.. usp just spray really fast.. no point to fire it slow like a retard and get glocked in the face.. Glock use burst fire and jump around.. hmm semi-automatic is useful for someone far away and like if you aren't so good with burst fire, just semi them like crazy.. you have 20 bullets, so yeah. :p hmm.. Deagle is kinda different, really powerful, one shot to the face works.. deagle tends to be more random though so you have to judge how to shoot it with recoil and stuff. Knife kills are always fun. :o

I don't like the FY maps..CS is not about fragfesting, that's what quake and most other FPS games are for.

I hate fy maps, and aim maps as well. Their stupid and they just aggrivate me. :| :S I do however like deathmatch mod, it's good for reflexes, and getting your aim up to par. ;o CS is for spamming walls and getting hs through them and killing people without seeing them and then killing like 8 people each round and then getting called a hacker. :P That's the whole purpose of it, rofl. No j/k. :p But it happens to me almost all the time. :(

As far as I can tell, CS is about playing "de_dust" over and over and over again. What's so great about that map anyways?

lol.. true it is in so many pubs. I dunno, people play it alot.. 'cuz it's common and they like it I guess. Well, dust2 is good.. it's one of the most balanced maps in the game. T and CT both have advantages and disadvantages at certain points and what not. But original dust isn't that good, it's ok.. bleh.. :| People just abuse it and play it all day.

I like Dust2, Aztec, and Oilrig (VIP is fun!) and some other maps depending on my mood.

At least I think those are what I picked on my clan uh..section page thingy.
