Yes, i think it is too thick as well. The buttons are verry round and stick far out. Me says that hurts sometimes when you press on them hard.

Since I'm bored, I'm gona list the negative aspects of these controlers.
NES: rectangular shapes are uncomfortable
SNES: Too thin, Bruce Lee could crush it in his hands
SEGA G: Odd number of buttons,3?
N64: Joystick is too wiggly, and the start button is too far away for my comfort

For the record though Bruce Lee could crush a lot of things in his hands, he knocked down i think it was 8 people with a single one inch punch Shocked

Anyways for me the GC controller is my favorite followed by the SNES controller.
