I work at Best Pizza And Subs, a local pizza and sub shop (three locations, whoo!!) that offers many sides, including three types of fries, buffalo wings, mozzerella sticks, cheese bread, jalapeño poppers, chicken nuggets, Ben And Jerry's ice cream, cheesecake, apple churros, and more.
Damn... that's way better than dairy queen, even if DQ has blizzards. I'm not a big Ice-Cream addict either, so that could have something to do with it. Ahwell, I'm sure I'll find something to do when I get my licence.
Back on topic.
Why are First-Person shooter games so much fun and addicting?
I don't think I've ever head anyone use that instead of addicting in this context. Another secret US/British English difference, or just kraidization of the language?
It's also just plain incorrect to use "addicting" as an adjective, no matter where you live. But I guess you could say that you're using it as a verb, as in "this game is addicting [me]", but that's really pretty stupid.
