Trust me: they don't.  Everyone I've sent it to (obviously I wouldn't have to sent it to m2k2-ers) can't even figure out what it's supposed to be, let alone the jokes.  I've tried explaining, but it doesn't help much…

Yes, the same problem is present in most of my MS Paintnesses.  Except for a few, these are so tooled to the community here they just wouldn't be funny anywhere else.  It's not extremely hard to make something that will be funny to several people that you know.  The real challenge is making something that a bunch of people you don't know will find funny.

That's the main reason I like the newspaper comics so much. Though, a lot of them nowadays are just stupid no matter how I look at them (Garfield, B.C., The Family Circus, etc.).
