What colorized version?

I think he meant the generic colorings of Super Gameboy. It's not actually a different version of the game, just a different interpretation of the pallets.
red chamber dream
Oh, okay. You can do that with a Game Boy Color, too.
Actually, there's an IPS patch out there that colorizes Metroid II.  I don't know how many colors it supports, but it looks much better than the SGB or GBC do.  I'll have to dig up a link to the patch...

Oh, you're talking about on emu. I don't really play ROS on emu much, so I guess this topic doesn't really apply to me, heh.
How would being colorblind effect if someone likes colored or not? It's not like colorblind people only see in black and white.
red chamber dream
Well, nearly all of them don't at least.
Of course not, everyone with a tv knows the colorblind see with a cheap grayscale filter.

Ark's right. There's a few cases where a colorblind person can't see any colors at all. Well, except grayscale.

Oh, okay.

I found the colors IPS for M2: RoS (don't remember where) but I don't know how to patch it. Anyone knows?

Haven't played this (maybe I can find it at a used shop; I'd prolly suck at playing, though), but I'd prolly use a 'default' colorized palette, with greyscale mixed in for teh classicness.  Does the color palette apply in SPees (GBA SPs)?

Also:  The colorblind person I know (or rather, the person I know who I also know to be colorblind) is so around the red side, IIRC.  She couldn't see what was written on the board (dry-erase whiteboard) sometimes.
I like Big Butts and I can not lie

Rename the ips patch so that it has the same name as your M2 ROM (without the .gb part) and have the ROM and the ips in the same folder

Color Palettes won't affect the SP, and vice-versa. However, most GB games on an Advance or Color for that matter have a pre-set palette. To change the palettes, on the Gameboy's Start-Up screen (where it says "Gameboy"), you can adjust the palettes by pressing the + (D-pad) in any direction. Also pressing either (B) or (A) along with the + (D-pad) can get you even more palettes. The Gray-Scale palette is either down+B, or right+B. I'm not 100% sure, since I haven't played a GB game in forever.

Thanks to getting a used Game Boy Player ($20!), I have a handy little chart for color palettes.  Lessee... "GRAY" is left+B.  So, no auto-colors for teh SPee... How 'bout GBP?

EDIT: "%20!"...
Mister ...
As far as I know, a GameBoy Player acts exactly the same way as a GameBoy Advance.  I only had my Player for about a month before I traded it back in *bangs head on desk* Stupid, stupid me >.<

Thanks. That helped a lot. Just can't wait to try it out. :)
Finally got off my butt and found the hack at http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/175/

Enjoy, everyone. :)

I did how you told and it worked perfectly except the colors were a little glitchy.

LOL, coulours!

Hm... If I can find it on the 'net or at a GameStump for low enough, I might just nab me a copy.

Annoying
Colourizadated or not, it's the same adventure no matter what.
That looks like Iron Man...
Uh... what does?
