Ok i don't know if this could help but after the bombs you can double bomb jump to the statue and then duble bomb jumb to get to the pannel and scan it then the gate opens the door. Then go back to statue and do a double bomb jump and then unmorph if timming correctly you should be able to get to the door leading to central mining sation access then to cetral mining staion. I've only done this once because its really hard to get it it the right postion and timming.

I tried it, and I did it too. It is pretty hard though. I can't think of much of a use for it, but oh well.
I just want to know if it helps speed things up after bombs. Or does this end up in a dead end.

You reach a dead end pretty deep in the pirate labs. The room with those three pillars that you move up and down, after you see the metroids? God I wish I could remember some of these room names. Well the pillars are too high/far apart to bomb jump up.

According to Ekard here, the 3BJ gives you greater height than the SJ itself!  Shocked Which - theoretically - that it should be possible...

I've done a lot of testing and yes the 3BJ does appear to give more height. However, it's hard to get much distance out of it so it probably wouldn't work :?.
