not a matter of getting lost, it's a matter of remembering how to get to specific rooms. i was halfway through sector 1 and remembered some item to go back for but couldn't remember how to get there. i tried using the map but since it doesn't show door colors it was totally useless. the game isn't totally linear in the sense that you never get to stray from the main path.

Could be from person to person, I never got lost, I always remembered how I got to certain rooms and how to return (or in the case you can't return, get to the real path, because that will happen at least ONE time).
I only had to use the map after I beat the game to get the 100%, it's that easy.

Just me anyway, you'll get to understand the awful map eventually.
my first time through there was one point where I got completely lost for 10 minutes or so because I couldn't figure out how to read the map.
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
Yeah the map is certainly a piece of shit in that respect.

70% of the items are missile expansions though, and missile expansions are so fucking useless in this game thanks to concentration it isn't even funny. You will be at no disadvantage if you wait until the collect-a-thon to pick up missed items.

And they are also very spam-able.

No it was full price and wrapped in celefane. Well £37.99, that's full price isn't it ?.

Its because a lot of people are stupid and believe any Metroid game is Prime.

Yea that's very likely true. I've had similar things like this with receipts. "oh the metroid thingy, what's it called?... I believe there's the word prime in these games as well. Yeah just put that on it". lol
Quote from Prime Hunter:
If you're in the desert area of Sector 3, that's actually pretty far in already.

No it's the small desert area in sector 1.

forgot to mention -- i like concentration. i think it's cool that they went with a different form of item restoration rather than the usual enemy pickups. it does a good of keeping things moving.

the only thing i don't like about it is how they called it concentration -- i think that's where most of the backlash comes from. had they done it differently, maybe said samus's missiles are made out of energy, it would have been totally fine. this makes me wonder what it's called in japanese and whether or not this is just bad localization.

My thoughts exactly. It seems more akin to reloading, at least for the missiles. That's how I think of it.

Anthony is totally the best character in the game, and not for the right reasons.

Second.
The later cutscene with him
and ridley made me go "Well there goes the best part of the story. But then the ending came.

So first I was like: D':
Then I was like: :D

What do you think of the Pixel hunts ark? You're bound to have run into atleast one of them by now.
red chamber dream
i've done two. they're weird but no big deal. just have to look for whatever's moving ... takes maybe 30 seconds.
ANKOKU
"whatever's moving" hah, have fun with the GFS training ground.

It's just a gameplay mechanic though.  I don't think people are getting up in arms about the name of a mechanic. I think they could've kept energy power-ups in and maybe limited how many missiles you could regenerate (like they do with Energy).

Localization, what localization?  I see no localization in Other M.
I hated Anthony.  I thought it was stupid how they made his character more or less a stereotypical african-american male.  You would think that any afro-american people in a futuristic setting wouldn't talk like the ones today do.

that's the reason i loved him.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
the fact that he didn't look like some dude in black face makes his character actually a big step forward for japan.
red chamber dream
rotfl. yeah, also true.

i do enjoy the perfect mix of races in that federation squad though. political correctness is hilarious.

The best part about it is really only the black one gets any screen time compared to the others (excluding Adam)

Reminds me of pretty much every advertisement for any company ever. Look we're diverse! See there's a black dude... and an asian!
I like turtles.
The black dude doesn't die first in this game.

In fact, he doesn't die at all!
He'll always be remembered.

also note that the white guy is the traitor.
I like how in South Park they even named the black kid Token Black.  (ha ha)

All they really need to do now to demonstrate their PC diversity appreciation is to have openly homosexual characters as well.  It's still considered socially acceptable (for the most part) to openly express hatred towards homos in america, so it might be a ways off.
Well... they tried that with Birdo, but that didn't work out so well.
lol no way
I don't know, I'd say it did in the same way that making samus a woman "worked out". I mean people will say "wait, birdo's supposed to be gay? oh weird." in the same way they'll say "oh samus is a girl? oh weird." Cause I mean birdo is so supposed to be homosexual (you like how I slipped in a different term to show my acceptance of diversity? yeaaah).
