the actual ASM coding is in the patch.
apparently, insom didn't use a compiler for this and there isn't an ASM file.
if you want to look at the self compiled instructions, patch it to a rom, then compare it to a clean rom.
Ta-Da! There's the ASM!

Zhs2: If one were to know what one was doing, then yes, one could figure out what the patch does. It's not all that hard either, especially considering this patch in question hardly does anything.

That being said, Bloodsonic, it would be easier and preferable to look at compilable source code rather than the results of an IPS patch. I have no source code for this patch because I compiled it by hand a long time ago, back when I hardly knew what I was doing. All of THAT being said, I think it might make a good exercise to do just what Bloodsonic suggests. That's the kind of stuff I used to do when I was first learning ASM. I would avoid the "Hey smart one" comments.
