Imperalist already warps the metagame a little too much for my tastes, although that's probably because everybody and their mother is Trace. It may not make any sense whatesoever, but it's a video game.

its just because so many people (including me) like snipers...

not that i know of, as you need a prop for the camera, a DSLite, and very very steady hands.

if someone were to record a run, it would be the first DS run made.

I have both and believe me, it's really hard to record.  Maybe you need more things than a camera and a dslite.

someone suggested building a stand out of Legoz.

or you could just tie it up to somewhere convenient (a bunk bed, a shelf) and try to find a comfortable position in which to record.

if you record a run, i'll verify.

Legos would be just about the worst thing to use, really. Why not build something out of steel or some other kind of alloy? Would be much sturdier and less prone to collapse. >_>

legos are cheaper and can be just as sturdy if you build it right. :P

I dunno if you're right on either of those accounts. Legos have gotten terribly expensive, and you can easily find a few pieces of metal lying around somewhere or buy them for cheap. Also, there is no way Legos are sturdier than metal.

you dont have old legos sitting around? o_O

unless you have access to a welder, you arent going to be able to build a whole lot out of scrap metal.
OK heres something strange IMO.

If you do the "Green Oval Glitch" (see DrTrence's Topic) in the Helm Room, you'll notice that you fall to your death right?  Well if you look at the map, you'll also notice that there's another room underneath it.  With a well timed start press you'll be able to see yourself as if you're in the Data Shrine 2 when you're really falling.  Now I'm just wondering if there is a way to "trick" the game into thinking that you're actually in that room instead of falling or maybe if theres an invisible platform that you can land on and navigate through the room blindly until you find a door.

How many times have you attempted to wallcrawl or go to a room that is not directly linked to the part of the game that's loaded?

If not many, then that explains it.

If you try to go to a room not directly linked to the room you're already in, the game freezes. Also, the game doesn't secretize the entire game; it just secretizes the room you're in/the room whose door you've shot. There is no way this would work.

Really? I see a lot more Syluxes than I see Traces.

I posted that about a month ago, so times may have changed. Slyux was always the second most common when I played regularly. Perhaps people have realized how worthless Trace's affinity is and how other people can snipe too.

People like Trace? I'm a Noxus fan, myself; though, I've only played multiplayer like, once. Sylux is pretty cool, too.

I like Dude That Splits In Half and Dude That You Can Fly With In The Low-Gravity Map.

Wha? I need to play that.

people use trace because its alt is very abusable and lately there is a hell lot of traces online

i also recently discovered thanks to an alt spammer that samus can get onto a glitch in combat hall, you just need a timed DBJ
You mean the one where you get in the middle of the level?
