VGMusic is just a crap-load of MIDI's. At least, that's what it was last time I was there. Maybe you meant VGMix? Which, btw, is finally up and running again after 2 years (or something) of maintenance.

Unfortunately I know my limits, and I know there is absolutely no way I am good enough to submit to OCRemix. One of my best friends is a judge there, so I know what he would expect, and I can't offer that. I do however plan to improve in time, I know I can do better.

yeah, my original intention for the term "Crap Load" had nothing to do with the quality, but the quantity of the MIDI's on the site. To say that all the MIDI's on VGMusic suck or have crappy quality would be wrong. I have a couple on my PC from VGMusic that are very awesome quality. For a MIDI anyways.

Heh, its amazing how quickly people can get off topic in this place :D

Anyway, I really want to make Lower Norfair next, I wasn't going to touch this one until i'm ready, so I need some really great instruments, I already have ideas on how I want to bring a personal touch to it, i'm thinking lots of strings, plenty of male choir (I need a good Male choir SF if anyone has one) and perhaps some odd sound effects from Super Metroid to add to the background. Will try make it as good as Magmoor caverns, but keep it true to Super Metroid at the same time. How does it sound?

Heh, I understand there are tons of Lower Norfair remixes out there, except mine would go off track a little bit, have that personal touch and try and stay as close to prime and super metroid as possible. I was messing around in FL last night making the begining theme to the Super Metroid Ending, I think I might make this first before I touch Lower Norfair.

Good production quality, nice use of the melodies. Perhaps that low string would be better replaced by a double bass or cello, though, for a lower-toned sound.

Hmm, it could work, but lack of soundfonts stop me from doing this, i'm looking for more though so if you can find some for me that would be a huge help for my future compositions!
