I'm not talking about the really obvious things, such as the linearity(If that's a word) and length, but the tiny details we've come to like within the Prime series. Mine are as follows:

- No Metroids
- No Half-Pipes
- No Super Bomb
- No awesome Weapon Animations(There's 7 weapons and the cannon only changes color..)
- No Space Jump
- No Grapple Beam

Maybe we could get some other discussion about the game rather than just SB's and glitches.

I miss the Metroids and the connection to the other two Prime-games. There's no Phazon and no Metroid Prime. I hoped for a story that makes things clearer in the Prime "trilogy".

it was mainly the lack of metroids and any hint of space pirate existance that irked me.  If its a metroid title, there should be at least one metroid.
I guess Quadtroid don't count Laughing

But the story is so far removed from the other Prime games that I think it would have been hard to work in metroids, unless Weavel brought some along with him or something.

I would have like more bosses, two main bosses repeated four times, Gorea, and the others hunters really wasn't many, especially since after the first battle, all the other hunters were a breeze. Honestely, I think I could kill another hunter faster than a guardian, and the guardians are supposed to be the fillers, not the hunters! I think it would be cool in a sequel to Hunters (which I doubt, maybe hope, never is made) if the other hunters gained powerups like you. It would be nice if by the end of the game they had several hundred health and multiple weapons like you, it would make the game a lot more interesting I think.

Another thing I would have liked is better hidden items. I'm not sure if I got 100% items (not scans), but I couldn't have been far off, and none of what I found was extensively hidden, half of it was almost right in front of you! They should have tried to make destrutible terrain objects like in all the other Metroid games (Prime and classic) that revealed new items, that made it a lot harder and much more fun to find items.
Half pipes
Super Bomb
Triple bomb jump (easier version)
Different bosses

Yeah thats pretty much it.  I can see why they took out the space jump boots for fear of another potential sequence break.
Well lets see:

- no space jump
- harder 3bj (as iamjackie mentioned, easier version in both primes)
- stupid "auto-damage-when-you-fall-real-high" (REALLY screws up some sw's)
- no special techniques such as bsj, roller jump, etc.
- no easy access to beam weapons (you need to hold down the button thing that has all the beams, instead of the criss-cross beam selection)
- no button for scan visor (have to look at the bottom screen and hold the stylus down on a little scan visor emblem thing)
- no save stations
- no power bomb
- no half pipes

that's pretty much it i guess..
lvl 28 Magic Leper
My major problem with this game (I had some other problems but they have all been mentioned by now) is that there is absolutely no connection with the other Metroid Prime games aside from the style and title. Metroid Prime/DS aren't even in the game.

Another problem I have is falling through floors randomly in multiplayer and dying in eternal blackness.
The scan visor really ticked me off most.  Aside from the above mentioned, there is a bug that if you lock onto something in the scan visor, you cant start a scan when you move closer like in MP1 and 2.

But what really makes me mad is this:
The scan data sucks.  Where in the GCN you get a good paragraph or two, in Hunters, your lucky if you get a complete sentence.

As if that werent bad enough, EVERY scaniable object is added to the logbook, which makes it so painful to get 100%.  Every single obscure piece of crap must be scanned.  I hate it.
One more thing

No frickin time display on the main menu.  God I can't tell you how much I hate that.  It's really useful in Speed runs.
The loading rooms (rectangular rooms with 2 doors on either end) look to obvious.  They could probably add some more animation in the room to make it less homely.
I mainly just miss the length and all the details that Prime 1 had. I wish there were some more upgrades too And it also gets kinda repetitive considering there are 2 different bosses and you fight the same hunters/guardians over and over again...

That's the damn truth, I totally forgot about that.

This isnt really true (the last part). Every inventory item (missiles, energy, weapons, etc. is added to your log book when you scan it. You dont need to scan any of these. AFAIK, minor pickup items (energy, missiles, powerbombs, what-have-you) needed to be scanned in MP 1. There are also a few scans in MPH that do not go into the logbook, if im not mistaken (and im not talking about switches).
everybody knows it's true
No Tallon Overworld-like world

That place makes me believe that the Metroid Prime graphics are the best of the best of the best.
