the first time you go through tourian, those speed blocks on the left side of the shaft & the SM block under the MB tank aren't there.  That area doesnt change until after you get to chozodia.

Actually, the speed blocks in the first room of the escape are there, but you can only break through the first set. You can't get the missile.
