Quote from Jigglysaint:
Sound is your friend.  Only time I've ever muted a game was when the music gave me nightmares(Blaster Master, and at one point lower Norfair in Super Metroid)

I tend to be a bit nervous around volcanicly active areas in games, since that kind of thing isn't my er, favorite.

Ditto, to all except the Blaster Master part.  Lava levels are always the least favorite of mine in any game, and Lower Norfair scared the hell out of me when I first played.  It didn't help that I only barely survived the big acid-filled room and saved with almost no energy, and was stuck there until I dimly recalled hearing about the crystal flash technique and looked up how to do it.  And then later didn't find the real exit and went back through that horrible room to get out.  It was much easier the second time, but I still find the place really depressing.

On topic, though, I liked Fusion's music just fine and thought the piece everyone's complaining about was fine too, but admittedly I've only played the game twice and both times did all my item collecting before talking to Adam that last time so I didn't have to hear it for long.  Just as well; I pretty much can't stand playing without sound except in unusual circumstances.
