I'm in AP compsci, and currently really liking it. We're playing around with GUI's now that the AP test is over, and I'm having fun adding new stuff. I dunno about a career in it, though...
The DS itself is supposed to cost 150$ or less, likewise, incase you guys haven't heard, it DOES have backwards compatibility, and then BlueTooth wireless(100 feet) WiFi (online wireless) the microphone in, lower screen is a touchpad, and a ton of other very nifty little things. The battery life is supposed to be about the same as an SP, they managed to fit a better into the thing or something. Likewise, LCD screens and backlights aren't nearly as big of a drain on batteries as MOTORs. Thats why the PSP's battery life is so short, it has an optical drive, which sucks up far more than 5 LCD screens possibly could.
I'm curious what the launch titles will be. (and i really hope pac pix and mario clouds will be part of wario-ware) I think that mario 64x4 and prime hunters will be launch, thats enough for me. hopefully wario-ware and a few other things. I'm also very interested in viewtiful joe DS and FF:CC DS. But we have to wait till the next gaming show to see those in motion. Anyway, the DS has wowed me completely since the first time i saw it, i'll definately be buying one on launch day, even if i do have to wait in a line. (and i hope i do, that would be great, lines are so much fun!) ---------------------------
You know, I was skeptical about the DS at first, but after reading this I want one.
yeah imagine giving ridley 2 screens to move around in, you see your shots move from one screen to another, or kraids room not needing to be scrollable, you just jump to the upper section on the top screen, t'would be awsome 8)
anyway i doubt it would happen, if hunters is anything to go by theyll use the top screen as a secondary visor screen and put your map, and maybe inv on it.
still gonna rock and still gonna get one though, dont know if i am gonna wait for price cuts or not yet
