I don't think there was a Zebes sector. Sector 1 had several from Zebes though.
Actually, I was under the impression that they all had enemies from Zebes. NOC had PIPE (the things that look like they are made out of pipes). AQA had FISH and enemies that looked very much like EBI (thing that drops from ceiling in the falling sand rooms, shoots spikey projectiles). TRO had the PUYO (jumping blob) and OMU (green crawly thing, they were red in TRO). Even ARC had the Hiru (thing that jumps up and then floats back down slowly). PYR had NAMI/FUNE from Norfair. KAGOs appeared in several different places. I'm pretty sure there are more too, but those are all I can remember.

Maybe, the station itself was a zoo/research station(duh), with many critters from many planets, and it just happens that they got a batch from SRX388 >_>

SRX sector is a premeditated large-scale effort to replicate SR388's environment and ecosystem. This is very clear from the game, the plot, the M2 enemies, and the official literature surrounding the game.

RE: mixed species:
Species appearing in different areas are not new to Fusion. A couple Metroid 2 critters showed up in Super Metroid for example, most famously the Chute Leech. It's clear that some species in the Metroid universe have propagated across multiple environments. This is easily explained by analogy to real life, where (often invasive) species hitch rides on ships, in planes, etc. Similarly, they could hitch rides on space faring vessels.

More to the point, on a space station with holes being blown in walls and zombied research staff, it would be strange if all the critters didn't spread out and mix up. Wink

Yeah, now that i think about it... all these planets, with all these critters had ancient chozo civilizations, and now that i think about it, i remember a lore or something in MP1 talking about how chozos "seeded" the planets and watched them "grow" under their care

Ends after your first visit to SRX. Not all the rooms are complete and tehre are some I still have to edit. You cannot get all visible expansions or access all seemingly obvious paths. Do not rely on the minimap to find stuff as I need to get to fixing it.
