Here are some pics that are from the hack I am making. The rooms in the pics aren't complete, but here is an idea what this hack will be like.

Can't...resist.....being....sick.....

This hack involves changes of the look of most of the rooms. It will also be slightly harder than the original. I have some special ideas for some of the expansion locations..........hehehehehe.....

I may come out with a demo of the Main Deck, but after that, there won't be any other demo. I am just now starting this hack.

I will show my progress below soon.

So, you're planning to make hack for metroid fusion? Great! You'll be the first one to make this kind.

Still lookin' good EP. That last room looks a little plain though.
Well, the last 2 are not done(Especially the last one). All the boxes except for the top row are just thin air right now.
Mister ...
Hmm, a full hack of Metroid Fusion?  Sounds nice.

Not just that, but a harder Fusion.  Sounds awesome; therefore, I cannot wait for this.
haha, awesome, can't wait for it ^^
Not a full hack. It's a half hack.

It will be a while, but I am working hard.
Break the chains!

Please hack Adam to oblivion.

Also door security levels.

Don't know why I didn't think to say that, but seconded. No Adam, no door-lockings. Interdpth I will click your ads every day for a month if you help him do this.
This is the first hack as well as mine. I don't have plans to go off story yet. Mabey if this hack is successful, I will begin developing a Full Hack that is Without Adam and Security Hatches.

Other than that, Walljumping will be a requirement....

That doesn't look very hard though =/
This hack isn't supposed to be much harder. Also, this is the beggining of the game =P

meh, fusion wasn't exactly "hard", neither it was challenging or something, unless you were new when you found out about shinespark charging like i was xd

now, i can do stuff no other people i know can do, in almost any metroid game ^^
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can do stuff in Fusion that's considered to be TAS-only. :P

If you don't release this before PJ releases his hack, I will be ultra-sad. Because PJ's will take a long time.

I read his comment more as a "in his personal life", which lord knows is also true for many of us.
It won't take me very long at all :/
You could make adam say: unlock blue, its here go get bombs there here.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Now that I think about it, it probably wouldn't be too hard to "remove" Adam from the game by having him just give vague hints or just yell some gibberish. Actually, that would make for a pretty funny hack.

Of course, you'd have to remove the objective location pointers, which could be either a fairly complex ASM hack or a lot of searching in TLP or, if you're lucky, NLZ GBA Advance.
Replace Adam with GLADOS.
the navigation room dialogue sets up a unique opportunity to write an awesome story for a hack.  people have been trying to present new stories in SM hacks, but it never really gets realized.    I really wouldnt mind all that dialogue in a fusion hack if there was a good creative story, one with lots of twists and turns.  you could even have the SA-X be the one that was communicating with samus, telling her what he's gonna do to her when he finds her.  then in the last room the SA-X could tell her to bring her ass to a certain location for the final showdown.  the possibilities are endless.
I haven't tried any editor for metroid fusion, but I'm just saying... I wonder how hard it would be to mess with the SA-X and make it appear when and where you want it, and also change events and room states in general. Maybe I'll try to hack fusion as well, I really liked that game for its design, despite the lack of freedom and challenge. The story was pretty good too.

Anyway. All that stops you from going where you want and forces you to talk to Adam in original metroid fusion is locked doors. You could probably just remove those and make the game more free and open like super metroid, so your path is blocked by obstacles rather than locked doors, and the items you need to progress doesn't have to be placed in a set sequence.
I like Big Butts and I can not lie

Easy

Not a chance

Believe me, there's way more than just that
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I started making a list of events in the actual event counter... It doesn't seem I have it on this computer, but I don't think I even got to NOC by the time the counter was up to 0x30. The event counter controls what you actually get when you get a special thingy; getting things out of order causes you to get whatever you should have gotten.
Ahh, ok. That makes sense. Is that what you were talking about P.JMan? I tried opening fusion with zero fission but it said I had a bad rom and I haven't bothered trying to get it working. So the order for the key items is set, and coming to think of it I've seen what happens when you try to get that early power bomb too... but it's not like the game explodes if you try to walk through a door that would normally be locked, is it? So maybe you could add some exploration to it, and if the meetings with Adam are still necessary (I suppose they are) you could just make him chat a little with you instead of his usual "go there, do that"
