nate actually just mentioned this in IRC, but that last sentence seems pretty unnecessary. It's a pretty meh sentence and it doesn't seem to add much the the story anyway.
The current last sentence wraps things up rather nicely I think, in fact I unaware of the fact that there was anything after that until I saw nate's point about the newly deleted part.
I appreciate your continued interest! Currently I have three more parts finished, but it's been very difficult to write Act II, so I'm taking it pretty slowly. I don't have much time to write these days anyway, so that works out.
it's like 30% done. actually i've done that 30% several times now but it's sucked every time and i have no idea how to write like half of it. the irony is that it would actually make way more sense to post on here because it's about the same time covered in the first history block, only told in mip style and with all the non-metroid prime stuff in there. so full context of the birth of metroid 2002. and yet i still can't finish it. pretty lame. fork can provide ample entertainment though; i'm just a has-been.
Yeah, I'm gonna fall in love with a girl three years younger/older than me.
Awww...
From what I saw in another thread, you're a wee young'en, so there's no rush. Unless you were joking, of course, but it doesn't matter, the point is valid.
In saying that, my relationship is a bit of a love story, according to most. We met at school. I was 15; she was 16 (8 months older). We got together in 1996, and have been together since. We were married in 2006 (the same day we got together, ten years later). Nauseatingly happily married since then.

As a little teaser for yall until the next part is released, I've uploaded the song referenced in Part IV. To this day I consider it synonymous with Nicole.
rotfl, thanks. Dunno if you can tell, but I spent hours on it!
EDIT: Actually, I'm not sure which site you're talking about. One of them was actually done by my sister (cityofveridian, the arkarian.org redirect). The 'samuel' subdomain is the one I labored over for hours. ;)
