Eh, the Fusion sprite was alright. You couldn't hit them geemers without kneeling, if you used a CodeBreaker/ActionReplay to get rid of the Wide Beam.
Metroid 2... remake with better graphics? Just the thought of that sexually stimulates me!

Metroid 2 Remix project
This project is headed up by The Pizza Boy. Not much progress is being made - I think all of us have plenty going on in our lives, w/o devoting time to this. BUT... if anyone is curious, visit the link, see what's going on, volunteer if you want. (NOTE - since it's a Invision board, you may have to manually tell it to view all topics, not just ones from the last 30 days. Yes... it's been awhile since anyone posted.)

At least DF gets me. Now instead of posting an explanation of it that I had typed and ready, I figure you already knew about it and wouldn't take kindly to further mockery. I also noticed that rain had attempted to bring the in game map idea to human_wb's attention as though he hadn't read the previous posts (and I somehow kind of doubt he did at this point). Of course, the mocking of the repetition had gone unnoticed by the mocked, who in turn called me senile as though I didn't know I had copy/pasted the exact words and added the smiley. Though I guess if you try to enjoy it, it did make it slightly funnier.

Hate to bump this, especially being new and on an unconfirmed rumor, but I saw a potential E3 list of new games, and two of them are of interest.
