[SM] Super Metroid Impossible

Breathe in the Future, Breathe out the Past

Took me nearly 50 tries to make it to the unheated e-tank room in LN from the energy refill room. I'm going to take a break before rushing to ridley. This hack is sick!

Edit: Can I get a confirmation (within reasonable playing skills) on how many e-tanks I should have full before taking on ridley? I've only got 8 full (and 3 full reserves). I could try and stock up in the room prior but I'm guessing I'd lose more than I'd gain. I have a save state in the unheated e-tank room and could take it from there if this doesn't seem feasable. I had to cf in the ninja pirate room but was planning on doing it right before ridley. I'm seriously tense from this hack lol.

Only 8!? I had 10/11 before i tackled LN and I still had trouble. Anyway, you could probably survive, and I believe you are supposed to CF once around the ninja pirate room and once before ridley.

Well I have 10e-tanks and 4reserves in total. I wasn't thinking straight when I wrote that message because I overlooked that I didn't need to stock up on energy before ridley, just more supers and pbs to perform another cf.. brain fart.
I think I can take him on now.

I am moving to Thailand to do some studying and working, so I will no longer have time to play SM or SMI. Even if I had the time, I have a laptop nowadays and I cannot play squat with this one. Maybe some day I will return when I have more time and I have learned how to use this properly.

The reason I put this message here is because SMI has been the hack that started it for me and kept me active all the time. It is only fair that it will end it too.

Something hack-related too: I tried really hard to defeat Draygon without tools but I just couldn´t do it. Got quite close though. I sure hope someone does it some day. I also meant to perform another savestateless gameplay with less segments and more action, but I ran out of time.

I want to thank Saturn for this great hack, this truly is the king of kings, for me at least.
I also want to thank Cardweaver for his great hacks, especially Gravy and Soup, which are really top-notch.
Thank you all TASers that have entertained us here with your great skill with making great SM TAS.
Though I will be gone, I will still expect you to finish your work, especially these SMI ones!

And of course thank you all for being great people here. Keep on playing and creating.

that is a very touching and sad story Lance. Hope you will be able to come back to SM and SMI sometime (hopefuly sooner than later). It's sad you need to leave now, as there's going to be a new 100% TAS soon, as well as 2 more good hacks. I bid you farewell. khaaaan

Lance, I thought to leave this until I had defeated Botwoon, but I'll show you my progress in SM:I TAS, consider it the last WIP if you will. :)

I hope and wait until you come back, at least as I sent this for you I hope you have the time to watch it before you leave.
