Once again, seems to me like the gameplay should be good, and story not so much. Also, "diffusion beam"

Wow, this trailer's got me looking forward to the game a lot more than the other ones were. Glad they finally showed some more interesting environments and other gameplay mechanics than just running and shooting/combat.

looks pretty cool. it's like they realized the plot/characters couldn't be anything but campy and are now embracing it. also looks really fast which will be a nice change of pace from slow ass fuck zm and fusion.

the graphics are still shit but it's the wii after all i guess.

Also, I'm really liking the few music tracks we've heard. The ridley theme in the new trailer is pretty bitchin. Wiki says this is a first game, but right now, I think he could be a good replacement to yamamoto.

And ark, I think the graphics are starting to look a lot better. Nothing corruption levels yet, but retro's artists were really top notch.

Also, those cutscenes looked like they were actually made for English voices. (either that or the VO they did in the vid weren't for those scenes)

If they have swarms of enemies and low HP max, I'ma love this game. Oooh I can feel the tension already from low HP.

Definite planet-bound play from the looks of the savannah scene, right? I mean cause there was that one swamp in the E3 trailer that turned out to just be a hologram. I got a strange feeling that a lot of item use will only be in scripted events, like with how it demonstrated the shinespark taking off immediately... but that whole thing did seem to be trying to blend cutscene with gameplay for intense action so.
Grapple beam comes out of the cannon again, thank GOD. I hope they include a canon reason for why this time.

The area where they showed off the scanning (and that radar) wasn't disproven was it?

Well we also see the Bottle Ship get destroyed at the end of the vid.

So unless they've shown us the end of the game, that's only a portion.

I could see a problem in the bottle ship blowing up in the middle of the story because that would prevent players from getting 100%.

It's possible that there aren't any items on the ship, that the majority of what we've seen is just tbe beginning of the game and the items that were on the ship in the demos were only there for the demos. But who knows... wouldn't be the first time they showed part of the ending while promoting a game. :/
